“This adorable cottage was perfect for my husband, 2 small dogs, and me. We docked our fishing boat. Put the dogs on runs and basically lived in the back yard. It was quiet and somewhat shielded from neighbors. The outdoor dining room under the porch was an unexpected gem. The cottage is small, particularly the bedrooms. We slept in one and put our clothes in the other. But it’s super clean and the public space was more than enough room for us. The air conditioners cooled the house well, but if...

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This cottage perfect for two people. The location has all the amenities you could ask for. Climbing up and down the 43 steps to cottage can be tiring especially for the elderly. There is Liquer store very close buy and grocery store within 5 miles. I must say that prices there very high, but in no way does that reflect on owner. We certainly are looking forward to coming back for another stay.”

“Just a couple miles from campus, great locale for a family stay. Bonus chocolate pretzels upon arrival appreciated. Very great communication from hosts. It is an older cottage w quirks of an older house w original bathroom w no mirror, steep staircase to basement off the kitchen, small TV, but great for playing some games and close place to sleep/shower.”

“The house worked out great as an alternative to getting several hotel rooms, allowing the family to all be together during graduation weekend. The lake view was beautiful, and wish we could have taken advantage of it more, but didn't have the time. Would definitely return if back in the area.”

The main bedroom was nice and comfortable. The four season room was so inviting. The pellet stove kept the cottage very warm and the fire was so soothing. “Susan was the most warm and thoughtful host! She was there when we checked in and left us a lovely welcome basket! We were three couples traveling for baseball playoffs. The weather was dreary, but we all still enjoyed the view and the fireplace made it very cozy! The kitchen was absolutely charming, felt like a step back in time. Everything that needed to be was modern and comfortable, while still maintaining old world charm. Clean, organized, cheery - everything you would want in a rental!”

“Loved the view of the pond from the various outdoor seating areas. The small dock was great for the best view and was fun to see the turtles. So peaceful, reminded us of a bird sanctuary. Michael and Ashleigh were very responsive to any inquiry we made. Kitchen nice size and well equipped for our stay.
