Our trip to Franklin.

Booking was easy, Miss Dee sent all information needed for when we arrived. The home was cozy and quiet. The porch was nice to have coffee and watch the Deer , Squirrels and Groundhogs playing in the yard. We dug for Rubies at Cowee gift shop at Mason Mountain Mine about 10 minutes away. We went to the museums in town which the kids Lives, . We drove over to Cashiers to the sliding rock for a day of fun and then on to Cherokee living village. . We will rent here again . .THANKS for sharing your home with us.

Nice price but it is a single wide trailer

The location was about 20 to 30 minutes from any town. I am 6ft 4" so I hit my head on the low ceilings. The handicapped toilet in the master bath was annoying. Barking dog all night from one of the neighbors. The place was clean, it had a nice deck and the master was an addition to the trailer. The owner should make it clear in the listing that it is a trailer that has been added to with a deck and master bedroom.

Peaceful retreat

We loved our mini vacay at Hidden Trail. The kids and the adults loved sitting on the porch and watching the birds coming to the feeder. Fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

New Year's Stay

Everything was pretty awesome here at Hideaway Trail. You definitely are given your privacy which is very nice. Dee was super responsive if we needed anything. Some things to note. The internet here is very slow. Trying to stream a movie with the internet the family after a long day of hiking was definitely a challenge. This isn't too much of a surprise as alot of mountain getaways in the area have poor internet quality. Also to note the grill is no longer a propane grill and more of a park style charcoal grill. All in all this was a lovely retreat from our normal day to day lives and we will definitely consider staying here again for a future trip. Thank you again Dee! Have a happy new year.

Beautiful sunrise

My husband and I stay at Hideaway because I wanted to stay somewhere in the mountains and this was perfect, not too remote but not in town. Easy to find and driveway very easy to navigate. VRBO was clean and comfortable. Dee was quick to answer my questions and checked on us the day after we arrived. Only suggestion would be to provide shower soap/gel, since there was non we had to go buy bar soap (only hand soap in bathrooms). Full disclosure- this is an older single wide mobile home with an “L” shaped addition that makes for plenty of room. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you Dee.

Great location for a getaway!

We had a great time in this cozy house on the mountains. The house was comfortable for a family of 4. The heating was good and had all the necessary things you need for a comfortable stay. Wifi signal Was weak as well as satellite tv...but we didnt mind because there's so many outdoor activities to do. Will visit again!!

Fall beauty

Relaxing stay

We had a nice time on our quick trip to Franklin. Hideaway trail was very clean, comfortable and private. One tip, make sure you wrote the address down and have it in your GPS as there is no cell reception in the area but once in the house the wifi is great.

Skip, Mary and family at Home Away

Our mini-vacation at property in Franklin was perfect. The property lived up to Homeaway from home literally. Our home was immaculately clean, perfect size, and furnished beautifully. As advertised, everything you need: bed linens, towels and any needs bathroom accessories, kitchen pots & pans, small appliances, and kitchen needs available. Could not ask for more. Thanks to Dee as a part of the family making our trip so comfortable and worry free. Would definitely book again for an even longer stay!

5 week stay.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at Dee's hideaway. It was clean and comfy with everything we needed. Dee was very quick to answer any questions. The setting was beautiful and we really enjoyed the native birds, squirrels and other wildlife. We will definitely recommend the site to our friends.
