Denna plats är svår att slå för både strandgäster och golfare. Perfect Location, Perfect Vacation

This condo is has a direct view of the beach! An amazing view. The quick walk to the beach is almost as close as you can get! Easy parking. Condo was clean. Coffee pot carafe was missing and a quick call to Vacasa resulted in a brand new coffee maker being delivered on our first full day (day after check-in). I would highly recommend and would stay here again! Completely appreciated that this condo was not a required weekly rental and could do 4 nights away at the beach without going for the full week.

Captains walk is always a good choice, but this unit was getting a bit old, was a quite a bit dirty and had cockroaches. Vacasa was informed and did nothing

Great Location

Location and view were wonderful. After staying in many Palmetto Dunes properties this was definitely not a favorite. It needs updating and an owner touch. The master bedroom was lacking furniture and the bed was hard. We were told we could get thru the security gate at arrival with our last name but had to turn around and go to the rental office to get a parking pass. Great vacation, not a bad place, but other condos in the area are better equipped and updated.

Great view, comfortable living conditions

There was some confusion at the beginning since it was not apparent until submitting downpayment at the VRBO site that this is actually a Wyndham Resorts property and we might have avoided a fee by booking directly through Wyndham. We booked about a month out and received all necessary papers, passes and codes well in advance of our planned travel date. Big stress reducer, and it enabled our driving straight to the property without needing to go to a rental office at all, to check in or check out. This condo has great oceanside views from both the master bedroom and veranda/deck (4th floor of 5). The beds were very comfortable, and other furniture was clean and in good shape. Floors in the common areas were all tiled and allowed for easy cleaning of the sand that invariably gets dragged in on shoes/feet/sandals at any ocean stay. Amenities not mentioned in the provided list included chairs for beach use, a broom, and a vacuum cleaner which all came in handy. The only negative is that the kitchen cupboards smelled very musty and left an odor on dishes, glasses, etc. (we always handwashed them before use). We would recommend that the property at least lines the cabinets and drawers, short of replacing them.

Stay at Captains Walk

This property has a great location, pool and access to the Ocean. However, it does need upgrading of the furniture in the living room and the cabinets in the kitchen to be a Deluxe unit. Need to provide guests with more than 2 rolls of toilet paper!

This condo was dirty!

Our overall impression of this condo was POOR. Having stayed in quite a few rental properties over the years, I can honestly say it was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen. There was spaghetti sauce splattered on the wall next to the dishwasher; dust so thick on the shelf underneath the coffee table, I could write my initials in it; there was mold in the grout between the tiles in the guest bath and the sink not only looked dirty, it was greasy to the touch; the registers/returns for the HVAC were black with dirt and dust; the painted baseboards were chipped and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for months. Altogether, the whole place looked old and tired and was a big disappointment.

Captains Walk 448 was great

This unit served us well for our vacation. We enjoyed the area, and its convenience to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. The unit was comfortable throughout and stocked with all the necessities for an enjoyable week. We highly recommend CW 448.

Nice / but a few suggestions

This is a nice, no frills unit. Beautiful view from the balcony and convenient to the beach. There was no information about anything in the condo - how to work the tv’s or dishwasher, what to do with recycling, no after hours phone number. Also very spartan supplies. No dishwashing liquid, one roll of toilet paper, one trash bag, one dish towel. One very small fry pan to cook one egg. The least supplied rental we’ve ever had. Love Captain’s Walk, though - will return.

Perfect place to relax

The location of this condo was just perfect. The view was absolutely gorgeous. Sitting on the balcony felt like sitting right next to the ocean. The condo was spacious and clean and the little things like laundry soap and dish soap was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this condo and I would definitely return again.

I have stayed at Captain’s Walk before and you can’t beat the location and view. This unit was fine, could use a little updating, but had everything we needed. The only issue I had was the poor lightning in the bathrooms and second bedroom.
