“Best place we stayed in all of Japan. It's actually nicer than the pictures portray if you can believe it. Location is the only slight downside as you mostly will end up taking taxis everywhere other than the Heian shrine. Must comfortable beds and blankets, pillows we had as well. If you're cooking at all the kitchen is amazing. Wish I had used the meditation room but only discovered at at the end.”

“The room was clean, and the facilities and amenities were excellent, It’s a bit difficult to find chalet in night night. The stairs are a bit steep so not recommended for group who has a physical disability. Other than that, we enjoyed staying in Blue River Chalet! Thank you”

“Ben was a helpful and communicative host. There are three bedrooms with an additional tatami room that could (possibly) accommodate more. It comfortably slept our party of 5. The kitchen was large and functional with a spacious dining/family room. The property had two toilets and two shower rooms which made it easy for a large group to get up and going in the morning. Ikebukuro was an awesome area. There are multiple konbini around the corner from the house along with a more stocked grocery...
