“We loved this lodge! We stayed 2 nights here, and the lodge was great. It was clean, cozy, and we loved the amenities including the hot tub and pool. It had such a great vibe, it was quiet and the wood themed gave it such a cozy vibe. Would definitely stay here again!”

“Parking lot needs repaving. Hard to park motorcycles next to room as spaces contain many divots and uneven and hilly bumps in them. I know that’s an expensive endeavor. Everything’s else about the property, conveniences, staff etc is extremely superb!! 5 stars!!!! 😊”

“Was on our bucket list and glad we finally made the reservation. Loved this B&B for a romantic getaway. Well maintained property with historic appeal. Welcoming staff on arrival - felt personal and inviting. The Hampshire room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Old English vibe. Dinner and the complimentary breakfast were delicious. Enjoyed walking around the property and playing some of the outdoor games. Definitely will be back.”

“This was so beautiful!! We absolutely loved it. We had a nice fire in the evening, grilled some burgers, and showed off our horrible boating skills (honestly it was fun to just row in circles and laugh, but the river is calm and has lovely views). It is easy to drive to the market for anything you need or other small towns for a day trip. We had minor issues with outside lights but it made it more fun to see things by firelight and fireflies. Thank you!”

“If you are planning a trip to the Barre or Montpelier area of Vermont, stay at Maplecroft Bed & Breakfast. Wonderful breakfasts, thoughtful amenities, comfortable bed (the pillows) all in a Victorian home complete with a Tower Room. ”
