Enter a cul-de-sac onto this one-acre property off Hatton Canyon.
This property is very private. Outdoor decks enjoy the stunning sunrise in Carmel with wilderness views of Hatton Canyon. Ample parking with a motor court for 6 vehicles.
Large picture windows and outdoor areas allow privacy, sunshine and natural beauty of wildlife.
Enjoy stargazing with the clear skies and lack of ambient light.

This property has 4 bedrooms capable of sleeping 6 people and is ideal for a family or a golf/ beach/ wine / shopping trip.

Walk to the downtown shops and wine tasting rooms in 20 minutes. (Or drive in six). It's a nine minute drive to Carmel's pristine dog- friendly beach. Close by is the Hatton canyon trail which will take you to the Carmel Barnyard for tasting room, shopping and many restaurants. (Biking is allowed on the trail)

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. Off the beaten path, yet 11 minutes to Pebble Beach golf links and Cypress Point.

The property includes 5 private outdoor areas and a yard with seating, for lounging, sunshine and making memories.

The property has two recently renovated bathrooms and
includes a deep tub.

The galley style kitchen includes stainless appliances, and a dishwasher.

The TV lounge enjoys comfortable seating and an 80" TV. Or, look out of the picture windows at the wildlife activity. Plan to see deer, birds and other wildlife.

The dining table easily seats 8 and the patio doors open to a large deck with plenty of seating for dining or pre-dinner cocktails.

The formal living room offers picture windows and a quiet area to relax and read in afternoon sun.

The master suite has a King bed, three outdoor views of the forest and a walk-in closet.

The second bedroom includes a Queen bed and the same forest views. The third bedroom includes a full sized mattress with the same sweeping views. Both have deck access.

The fourth bedroom enjoys a northern exposure, tree-filled view with twin sized bed and its own deck.

Cleaning fee per stay. Long term stay Bi-weekly (every other week) cleaning fees required and apply.

Beautiful, convenient and very comfortable
We loved staying at Rose Cottage. It was large enough for our family, beautifully decorated and maintained, and filled with lots of amenities, kitchen/cooking items, and conveniences. Just a 5 min drive to downtown. Ashley was also wonderful and easy to communicate with. Would love to stay here again!

U.S.Women's Open Volunteers
We thoroughly enjoyed this home. It had all the amenities that we needed during our stay and provided a quiet retreat from our Marshaling Duties at Pebble Beach Golf Club. The home is beautifully appointed and close to shopping, dining and many other attractions in the area. An added benefit was the bird feeder on the deck, which provide a welcome distraction during Breakfast and Dinner. Having the information card for the area birds made it possible to identify the many varieties of birds that visited the Feeder. Overall, we rate this home as Outstanding and would look forward to many additional visits in the future when we have a group of at least 4 to 6. Thank you for your hospitality.

Beautiful Home in Pretty Area, couple small issues
This was a wonderful home and we had a great time for our vacation. The owner was responsive and helpful. One item that has been mentioned by other renters is the lack of blinds or curtains in many of the bedrooms. This made it difficult for kids to sleep. We understand some people may want to wake up to the sun at 5 am but we would have loved to have the option. The property is also listed as a complete home for rent. However, there is an apartment connected to the home with someone living in it. Perhaps this was disclosed somewhere in the overview of the home, but we were surprised to see we didn't have the whole property to ourselves. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home.

A place in the woods
My family was so impressed with the home and grounds . Lots of room for everyone. Everything one would need. The beds are comfy and the linens are new. The bathrooms are modern and have some extras. My daughter told me I had "hit it out of the park" in relation to my choice of this home. Many birds to admire and other wildlife. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We cooked and ate out. So much to see and do in Carmel, Monterey and Pacific Grove. We will return. Sharon

Wedding Weekend
Stayed with family for son's wedding. Was perfect! Loved the bird watching and space of the house. Owner was communicative, house was clean and special touches were appreciated (dog treats, extra shampoo, etc.)! We did not want to leave! Made for a wonderful weekend. We would love to stay again when we are back in Carmel. Thank you!!

wedding weekend
Overall, our stay was good. We were attending a wedding, so we had a busy weekend and the home was perfectly situated for all our events. A few notes that I feel should be addressed was the reason I gave 3 stars for cleanliness. The the couch, pillows, blankets, and big over-stuffed white fluffy chair (all in the big room with windows) had dog hairs all over. I appreciate the home is dog-friendly but this should be addressed for cleaning purposes. And there was a slight dog smell on this furniture. And the white couches in the living area are dirty as well. Another concern was the lack of extra towels. More towels would have been an extra perk. For safety purposes; the hand rails going into the home were broken and only one side has rails, and the back deck and deck off the master bedroom was broken and unkept. There are no curtains or shades in the master bedroom deck windows or windows that face side yard. These things do make a big difference when renting a home.

Fantastic and unique Carmel property
Ashely's house is exactly as advertised - clean, well-designed, and in an ideal setting to explore Carmel and the Monterey Peninsula. With its large living room, gracious dining room, well-stocked kitchen, and lovely bedrooms, there's not a whole lot lacking with this property. Add to that the responsiveness by Ashley - she was always there every step of the way to help out with any questions I had. I've spent time in the area before and had experiences renting houses as well as staying in hotels, and I couldn't recommend this house more fully. Thanks.

Carmel by the sea
Absolutely loved this property! Spacious inside and outside, clean, near town yet set in a quiet neighborhood. We cooked a bunch and were so happy to find the kitchen equipped with every gadget/tool we needed- pizza stone, cheese grater, salad spinner, bbq grill, etc. Highly recommend!
