Nyligen uppdaterat med nya möbler, detta vackra, hundvänliga hus i chalet-stil ligger på den soliga östra stranden av Presque Isle Lake, Northwoods främsta rekreations- och trofisksjö. Njut av fantastisk utsikt över vattnet genom de stora fönstren inuti och utanför det möblerade däck. En privat brygga är tillgänglig för din båt, medan en offentlig båtramp ligger bara några hundra meter längs vägen. Gäster på denna hyra kan också samlas runt eldstaden ut bakåt eller huvudet inuti och spela brädspel när vädret inte samarbetar.

Another amazing stay at the cabin! This was our 3rd time and won’t be our last. The cabin is clean and well appointed, and the property is well cared for. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake was our favorite place to be. Overall a fantastic time!

Pleasent Surprise

We booked this last minute and immediately fell in love with it. Our kids loved the activities provided by the host inside, as well as all of the outdoor options God provides :) We will definitely stay here again!

Great Northern Getaway

Overall I would say we had a wonderful week long stay at this home. It’s a beautiful, well maintained property on a very nice lake lot. The lake was quiet and the dock was perfect for enjoying the views. The house is well stocked with every kitchen item you could possibly need for cooking in. There were plenty of towels for all of our guests and then some. The beds are comfortable as well. The drawback to the property includes not having a bathroom upstairs for the guests staying in those bedrooms. This could be challenging for guests with mobility issues.

Beautiful property

The house was beautiful. Pros: a lot of space The view was absolutely stunning Full kitchen Large table for all the guests 2 full bathrooms Plenty of linen Comfortable beds/ couch Kayaks were part of the rental! Cons: the bugs were so terrible we weren’t able to enjoy being outdoors We randomly had the lawn care guys come on Saturday afternoon which with a house full of women in the middle of no where was a little off putting. Need more pillows! Chair in the living room while they look nice are terrible. to sit in. There wasn’t many places to eat or entertain us while it rained. Overall I would stay again.

I put another review on the other site. The dock was not in and that is one of the only reasons for renting the house. They never informed us and we had the boat up to the house in the water with no dock. It is a very steep slope to the house. It took over 24hrs to get a hold of someone and I kept calling getting a number and answering service. No one ever got back to me. The next day I sent a chat and I finally got a call from the manager in the area. He told me that the dock company broke the stairs and could not put the dock in the week before we arrived. i asked why they did not call me and tell me and let me cancel because that is the reason we rented the house. He said we would receive a full refund for our stay. As of today I only received a refund for 1 day! Also our boat is badly damaged from this incident and we now have to put in an insurance claim from the rough water and wind and all the rocks on that bottom area with no dock! This was a nightmare of an experience. I expect the full refund that he told me we would receive!

Perfect Retreat

Beautiful view on the lake with gorgeous sunsets. Appreciated the attention to detail. It had everything we needed. Great proximity to the Northwoods and the waterfalls of the UP.

Wonderful home

We needed to get away from it all, and this was a perfect spot! The listing is very accurate, and the home has a beautiful view of Presque Isle lake. Cozy, comfortable, and as disconnected as you want to be.

Great lake, Poor management

Positives: Lake is absolutely clear! Great for water sports. The house is comfortable and kitchen has all the necessities. The dock and lift were a bonus. Scenery was amazing. Negatives: The owners do not manage the property but rather a management company. They sent us plenty of marketing emails but when we had some minor issues, it was difficult and slow to communicate with them. The amenities felt cheap, for example, only single ply TP, no tissues in entire house, limited dishwasher pods and dish soap, no dish towels or dish cloths. The WIFI required you to put in your email every time you opened your device (there was no way to put in a password for the week). We would not stay here again due to the poor management, it was not worth the additional cost. Thank you owners for a great place to stay on an amazing lake. Please consider a different way to manage the property.

Beautiful home, really awful management

The management on the property was dreadfully unresponsive. I tried multiple means of contacting them in advance of checking in to ask if we could do early check-in, trying every means by which they had used to contact me since booking. There were no answers and it was an extremely late check-in (4pm), so we just wanted to drop the boat off so we could explore other areas nearby. Since the only communication after the request was to text the code to get in, we figured they were ready for us. And the place was spotless, except one bed hadn't been made. Only minutes before the check-in time, the cleaner suddenly showed up and even after we told her we were leaving, she still stormed out to call the management. Well, we finally heard from them then! At the end of the stay, the extremely early check-out time came (10am), though they did try to sell us a later checkout for practically another day's rate. It was surprising that they needed the full 6 hours to clean the place, but we hurried away. When I realized we had left a prized toy of my son's behind, I tried contacting them again to have it found and shipped, which any other VRBO I've had a similar issue at has been happy to do and I would have been happy to cover shipping. Finally they responded to my late check-in email to apologize for the delay because they were busy, no actual response about the check-in, and zero acknowledgment of the missing item. So I wrote back again about the toy. Eventually they responded again to say that there was a fee for the cleaner to even look for the object. Re the house, the driveway was extremely limited in space, so if you had a boat trailer with you, you could not back in or turn around properly. You had to launch from further up the road, boat over, then somehow make it back up the road to your vehicle, wonder what on earth to do with your trailer (i.e. leave it at the ramp all week), and then you could drive back. I really hope that this shoddy management group goes away. VRBO should be limited to individuals renting houses, not mass agencies that refuse to use the VRBO system, be responsive, or make renters a priority. Organizations like this don't deserve to stay in consumer-focused business.

Great property

This was our first trip to Presque Isle and we enjoyed the home and the surrounding area. When checking in, everything was as described, with a beautiful lake view. The house was VERY clean when we arrived, and the kitchen was well stocked with nice stoneware and a good assortment of pots and pans if you choose to cook. We used the property's pier and boat lift, which was nice and convenient. The boat launch is just down the road, along with a nice park. Unfortunately, there was a May Fly hatch while we were there, which made fishing and being outside a lot more challenging. Be aware that getting to the pier from the house is very steep and would not be good for anyone with mobility issues. The area is remote and dining choices are limited. We enjoyed the close by PI Pub and the Retreat, along with other restaurants in Boulder Junction. We drove up to see the Bond Falls in Upper MI, which was definitely a worthwhile trip. Overall, we would recommend this house to others. We had a lovely time and would stay at this property again.

Nice place

Nice place with cleanly interior. Only negative would be the excess of cigarette butts off of the deck/patio and back door and evidence of vomit on the deck railing and ground underneath. Still rated 5 stars, as the only issues were courtesy of the inconsiderate slobs who stayed prior to us.

Family snowmobile trip

Property was clean and as stated online. Snowmobile trail was close. We had a 26 ft trailer which was a little tricky to get in. My husband ended up backing it in. My son came with a 2 place trailer. We had room for both but not anymore. We would stay there again.

Beautiful home in a beautiful area

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect. Well cleaned when we arrived, spacious, and showcases a beautiful lookout over the lake. The property was also lovely. A mostly wooded yard that gives plenty of privacy but open enough to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Plus there is a nice park about 2 minutes (walking) down the road. The pups enjoyed walks through here each day. All in all, a great place to stay.
