“Clean , unusual quality furniture beds good size room. The here was a choice at breubut slightly misleading you had to pay for cooked. As this a very old building wouldn't be for those who have trouble with stairs or unsteady on feet. Staff all really lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Would stay again ”

“Came with my husband and 2 children 4&5) and my inlaws. Husband and father inlaw played golf...they had a fantastic time. Mother in law and i took the children swimming and went to the park. Lots to do wven though the children were too young for the big activities. We couldn't eat at the main restaurant in the evening as there was no space for the 6 of us which was disappointing. I think guests at the hotel should have some sort of priority to dine first. We went to a local pub for our evening...

“We were made very welcome, our room was lovely and warm (important as it was very cold and frosty), lovely and clean. Bathroom with a bath, but no shower. Large, comfortable bed. Very cosy. Breakfast was great and kept us going on our 10 mile walk that day. We had a lovely evening meal in the pub, which was well cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“Superbly professional and friendly service. Enjoyed a room upgrade for a special birthday. Flowers and chocolates from the family were in the room when I arrived as well as a beautiful and delicious cake provided at dinner. Spa staff were friendly and added to the relaxation. It was a memorable celebration weekend. ”
