“Our stay was rather disappointing. The property seems neglected. Some lightbulbs in the bathroom were not working . The coffee maker was really filthy inside. Instead of breakfast we were offered some packaged pastry from a gas station. Plus, there were a bunch of insects in the room. There was no drinking water in the property we ended up driving to get water. I don’t understand they can charge so much money ”

“We were greeted by Michelle and given a tour of the house. Our room was beautifully decorated and quite big enough for an overnight stay. Breakfast was a real treat - creatively cooked and served by Michelle. We enjoyed conversation around the communal dining table. So close to some wonderful hiking and other outdoor activities. “Close to Kingston and Hwy 87, thus convenient. Friendly host(s), a very pleasant stay. We were okay with no cell phone reception or TV because the wifi was fine, and we enjoyed this quiet getaway. Breakfast was tasty, artisan bread, large portions of fresh fruit. Restful and comfortable.”

“The hostess reached out well before our stay with check in details and other local information. We stayed in early May. The main house and cottage are located down a long drive. The cottage sits a little off to the side with the bedroom/office facing the river. The layout of the cottage is very efficient. We especially enjoyed the front mudroom and staging area perfect for storing muddy hiking boots and backpacks. Our week long state was magical. Coffee in the Adirondack chairs next to the river...
