Designad av Phil Bradley och byggd av Harold Halvorsen är denna 1300 kvadratmeter hem byggd på en naturlig bergskärning med utsikt över vattnet och commons nära Pebble Beach. Det finns fina däck på båda sidor av huset och ett litet anlagd gårdsområde och ett slutet område. Detta är ett utmärkt hus för en familj på sex, inklusive upp till två hundar (med en extra husdjur avgift).

Hemmet har en mikrovågsugn, kabel-TV, video, DVD-spelare. En vedspis kompletterar den centrala tvångsvärmen.

Du måste kontakta oss för att lägga till mer än en hund till bokningen, om det är tillåtet. $ 20 per hund, per natt. Om husdjur är tillåtna kommer avgiften för den första hunden att inkluderas i den totala kostnaden som anges.

Parkering Anmärkningar: Bokningar med 1-2 gäster kommer att få 1 parkeringskort (om inget annat anges), 3+ gäster får 2 parkeringskort. Sea Ranch Association tillåter endast 2 passager per bokning. Parkeringspass är för bilar parkerade inom Sea Ranch (vid recenter, vandringsleder etc) och måste vara synliga i fordonet. De flesta men inte alla våra hus kommer att rymma mer än 2 bilar. För gäster med mer än 2 bilar kan eventuella ytterligare bilar användas för att gå till och från huset utan ett pass, men måste stanna kvar på andra sätt. På gatan parkering är inte tillåtet. Det mesta av vårt hus kommer inte att rymma mer än 3 bilar. Eventuella frågor om ENDAST parkeringsbegränsningar och överfyllningsparkering måste prata med Sea Ranch Association (707) 785-2444. Kontortid är tis till lördag 8: 30-5.

An incredible location and family home

This home is one of the few in Sea Ranch that look to be owned and used by the same family for many years — we loved their homely touches and decor. The house is in the most incredible location at Sea Ranch, and is very comfortable. The house needs to update their bedframes (they are so loud that simply getting onto the bed would wake up our child in the room next door or downstairs!) and they are small double beds which is tricky for any adults over 5.5ft! The house also needs some deep cleaning — the couches and mats are stained from use and need to be reupholstered or cleaned. That being said, it is a beautiful home and in the most incredible spot in Sea Ranch and I'd highly recommend.

Great location in Sea Ranch!

The house was a little dated, but the location, scenery and deck looking out to the ocean completely made up for it! The beach was also only a short walk away. The check-in was super easy and it had all of the necessities stocked.

Great dog-friendly house

We had an enjoyable stay at the Thayer house this week. As other reviewers have noted, some of the decor is a bit dated, but it's nicely appointed and in a great location. I appreciated being able to bring our dog along on our trip.

cozy retreat

We really enjoyed our stay.l The house is well located, ; with a fantastic view of the ocean and just a short walk to the beach. It's a nice house, well stocked kitchen for making meals. The showers are weird -- no real shower head; some of us liked the resulting strong spray but it's not for everyone. The only real complaint was the livingroom furniture was not all that comfortable. Still all in all, a great place.

Quick get away

Love the rustic warm feel of the property. Close to the walking trails and small beach which was great with our dogs. You could hear the ocean waves throughout the day and night❤️ Brought our own spices and food to great family meals. Will be back again to relax and get away.

The house was even nicer than the photos. Beds very comfortable. Yes, it’s rustic, but it’s authentic Sea Ranch. Location was fabulous. We had some difficulties at check-in but the managers worked with us and all was resolved.

This is my second time trying to post this review, seems a little concerning that my first one didn’t post. Anyway, the view and location is amazing! However the house itself could use a little TLC. The beds are very old, and they’ve put a layer of foam on them to try and make it more comfortable. Everything is very creaky in this house, and it’s definitelt not for tall people. The shower hit me below my arm pit. For the price the view is pretty worth it, but they do make you pay a lot of extra fees. Two types of service fees and An additional rental fee is ridiculous, the totals of all these fees almost double the cost of the house to rent for a week.

The management fee's and taxes were almost equal to the cost to rent the house for 4 nights. What's wrong with this picture Homeaway? There needs to be more upfront disclosure about total cost. Maybe, adjust them downward as well.

Lovely older home. Great ocean views!

The home was very comfortable! The home felt very well loved. Could use a little face lift. All was useable and the bed was very comfortable. The view was amazing! We enjoyed watching the sunsets. While we were there, we watched the Perseid Meteor Showers at night! There are so many millions of stars in the sky! So different than in the city! We had a very relaxing visit.

Rustic with amazing views of the ocean

Rustic with amazing views. A gently lived-in and loved house. Spent a lot of time just watching the ever-changing ocean from the west-facing deck and front windows. The weather was a bit cool when we were there, but the first floor heating worked well. The kitchen was well supplied, like an ordinary house, so we were able to prepare meals and wash dishes in the dishwasher. Minor issues: the window of the downstairs bathroom didn't open so there was no ventilation there. Also, the level of the larger beds is fairly high off the floor so that might be an problem for someone with mobility issues. A washer and dryer were available. There were a few games under the TV that the kids enjoyed. We did not turn on the TV so we cannot review that, however, the internet reception was good. The shade blinds mitigated the bright sunlight that came in during the late afternoon without blocking the view and the opaque blinds insulated during the night. Our main complaint would be that we should have scheduled more than the two nights that we were there. A great place for those who want to enjoy the northern California coast.

Rustic, lovely hide-away ... can't wait to go again!

Lovely place. Private and just a short walk to the bluffs and Pebble Beach and Smugglers Cove. Full sun in the afternoon, don't forget to bring your suntan lotion! The place itself is warm and has atmosphere. Great for relaxing and sampling the wines of Sonoma in the evening.
