Wonderful house with hot tube and infinite view on Chianti 5 min drive form Siena

This cosy house is a portion of an ancient and restored farm house which belongs to the same family since ages.
It’s right at Siena's door offering amazing views, charming setting and a very spacious living area.
Set on the side of a gentle hill facing Chianti, is completely made of stone and surrounded by a pleasent and well equipped garden where the beautiful whirlpool tub is located with a wonderful view of the Sienese hills.
The house develops over two floors: the ground floor has a spacious living room with table and couches and a well equipped kitchen with direct access to the equipped and private outside area.
One bathroom.
On the second floor there are 2 double bedrooms ( air conditioning) and 2 bathrooms one with shower and one with bath tube.
The external hot tub is pure pleasure and is open from 01st of may to 30th of September, the house is also equipped with wifi and all modern comforts.
Siena center, supermarkets, bars, pharmacies, petrol stations, banks are 5 minutes drive.
The highway to Florence, San Gimignano, and the most important cities of art is only 10 min drive.
Whirlpool open from May 1st to September 30th.
Possible opening on other dates on request and against payment of 150 euros to be paid in cash on arrival.
The parking reserved for guests is located 50 meters from the entrance of the house.
On request at the time of booking, it is possible to rent bathrobes (10 euros per person) to be paid directly upon arrival in cash

Perfect views of Tuscany!
This was our first visit to Italy & we found this to be the perfect spot to stay. The host was helpful and communitive, the house was as described and well stocked with essentials. It was nice to sit outside with a glass of wine at the end of an adventurous day and be able to relax & soak in the beautiful Tuscan view! We would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

Amazing location with spectacular views
This is a fantastic home with very accommodating hosts. The price was right, the views were amazing, and it was the perfect place for four adults who liked to cook dinner at home. The distance to the COOP just down the road made fresh ingredients readily available, but we also opted for the "welcome dinner" by the host the first night and that was delicious. Virginia's tiramisu really was the best I've had. There are a few things they should tell you about upfront so there are no surprises. For example, there is a washer but no dryer. We're not used to hanging clothes outside and were lucky it didn't rain while we were there. They also don't tell you that the on-site parking is down a hill. We could not understand why when there was plenty of space to park at the top of the hill. We also had an issue with an annoying motion-activated light that kept the backyard fully lit while we were trying to use the hot tub at night. Our solution was to open up one of the umbrellas so it wouldn't sense our movements. They really need to make that light adjustable so that it comes on briefly then turns off. Just a petty annoyance, but our solution worked and we saw one of the most amazing shooting stars we've ever seen on our first night, then a gorgeous full moon at the end of our stay. We wish they had provided good plastic cups to use in the hot tub, but they seem to be impossible to get in Italy, so plan to take your own. One more word of advice, do NOT let your map app take you down the road called Il Castagno. Terrible bumpy road that is easily avoidable if you know in advance. Otherwise, this was a fantastic place for our week-long visit to Tuscany. This was our fourth time in Italy and have no regrets about choosing Cosy House. Thank you to the family and to Best of Mas for an awesome experience.

Beautiful setting but needs updating
Beautiful views but home was a bizarre mixture of very old and new. Drawers did not open, faucets and doors were very hard to open, very limited silverware and dishes (mismatched). Only 1 shower in the 2 bathrooms so 2 couples used the same shower! There was a hand shower and tub in one bathroom but no shower curtain so the bathroom got sprayed with water when trying to shower in that bath. No ensuite bathrooms. No lists of recommended restaurants and sites to visit. In short, not a comfortable home for 4 people and not user friendly. On the plus side, the booking manager Marta, at Best of Mas was very helpful. The hot tub overlooked the country side and the house was in close proximity to Sienna.

Fabulous Stay in Tuscany!
We spent a wonderful week in this Cozy House just outside Siena in Tuscany. The owner, Gianni, and the property manager, Marta, could not have been more accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. This was Italian hospitality at its finest! The house is a fascinating mix of century old Chianti charm, updated with modern conveniences. The spectacular views from the house and yard rival any postcard or travel magazine photos you have seen of the Tuscan countryside. We would stay here again, and we highly recommend the property and the people! Fred W.

PERFECT
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison en Toscane. Merci à Francesca, à Giani et son épouse et à Sabrina pour l'accueil et l'accompagnement. Maison très bien située pour visiter la région, très belle vue sur la vallée du Chianti. Le plus du jacuzzi ! Nous reviendrons certainement. Petite précision, seul les deux chambres à l'étage sont climatisées.Mais la maison reste dans l'ensemble fraiche malgré les chaleurs que nous avons eu en Aout.

Great Location wonderful place
We are a family of 5 and the villa was perfect for us: amazing place with great viewes, wonderful pool, perfect for our vacation. We spent here one week and Elena (the owner) prepared a very nice dinner for us at our arrival, it was really a great experience.. Francesca, our host, was ready to answer to all our needs we really felt like to be at home: we really recommend this place and we are sure we will be back
