Custom designed and lovingly cared for, this log home has all the comfort of home in a luxurious and peaceful cottage setting with all the modern conveniences. Bring your food, or your family ;) - and you are all set.

With access to a Private beach within walking distance (including picnic tables, playground and large sandy beach) and lush Interlake fishing, our family cottage makes the perfect getaway from the city or for travellers looking to experience the beauty of Manitoba's cottage country.

*NOTE* Access to the Private beach is for members only as it is owned and maintained by local residents. Your access to the beach is a privilege of the rental property and you should always be respectful of other beach users and considerate of the family setting. Any complaints lodged regarding inappropriate use of the beach reflect poorly on The Homeowner, and any fines will be deducted from the damage deposit.

Netley Creek Golf Course is located inside Petersfield, with many other courses nearby. The area is popular with off roading and horseback riding in the summer, and the lake is usually busy with swimmers, jet skiers, and boaters enjoying some water activities. In the winter the lake is covered with ice fishing huts, and there are many trails for cross country skiing or hunting.

Check in was straight forward. The kitchen was great. Double ovens were a bonus for our family of 10. We enjoyed the table games provided. Beds were comfortable. We found the living room and bedroom lighting a bit of a challenge, but appreciated the home, as it met our needs. Thank you.

“The Big House”

We stayed at this luxurious property 3 years ago with my children and grandkids. When I asked where we should stay this time when we visited the Interlake they all said “The Big House”! Polly was always ready to answer any questions we had.

Nicest VRBO I have stayed in. And we have VRBO'd a lot

This is a really, really nice house. Super clean, check in process was easy, communication from the host was great. What I also really appreciated was the little things. Coffee filters, salt, pepper, etc are provided so no guessing on what you need to show up with. Very nice kitchen equipped with great pans, knives and spatulas. TWO OVENS and nice cooktop. Also, more than enough plates, silverware and glassware.

Fabulous getaway

Stayed for 6 nights with infant toddler and family and had fabulous time. Beautifully maintained and well appointed home. Comfortable and spacious and quick easy access to beach. Polly was accessible and made communication easy. Wonderful memories on this holiday.

Even better than the pictures

We enjoyed a great week at this beautiful house. Polly was very responsive to my early morning inquiries. There were plenty of board games for the kids to play. The .children loved going to the playground and seeing all the rabbits along the way. Every night we enjoyed gathering around the fire pit. The house was very conducive to family gatherings. The kitchen was incredibly equipped(you might want to take a pic of where things belong to help you remember.) . I would enjoy making this spot an annual vacation with my family.

3rd year at this fantastic cabin!!

For the 3rd year in a row we had an awesome time at this cabin with our family. Cooking at this cabin is a pleasure with the well stocked and modern kitchen! The fresh herbs grown in the garden boxes really added extra flavour to our meals! Thanks for this! Also a huge thank you for arranging a dock spot for our boat! You have a gem of a place!

Amazing Place

This place was stunning and well suited for large family gatherings. Fabulous, well stocked kitchen became the central gathering space for morning planning. The large, open living space was a great place to relax after a busy day. Bathrooms were ultra modern and well stocked. Beautiful firepit area was great for family time. The owner was very attentive. Overall, a great place to stay.

Great time with family.

Place was great as advertised. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes. We couldn’t find coffee filters so I’d bring your own. Sleeps 8 adults comfortably. There is a bar area where we set up our alcohol for the weekend. Lots of fire wood on site. Big axe is provided too. If you need more there is a place selling wood down the road. Yard is big we kicked around a soccer ball and set up badminton net. Beach is near by. Bbq wouldn’t light so we lit a tissue and used it to light the burners. Owner answered my questions that I had prior to arriving in a prompt manner.
