Serenity abounds in this quaint Bayfront home. Enjoy days at the beach and evenings on the new deck over looking the canal where guests can enjoy fishing & crabbing from the floating dock. Want to explore Back Bay? Consider, renting or bringing your own Kayak or Paddleboard. This home is one of the few in Sandbridge that is equipped with a "walk-in" entry ramp. This makes access to Back Bay a piece of cake for all!
The entry level to A Sail Away offers a single bedroom suite, with a double bed and day bed with twin trundle, along with a private half bath and flatscreen TV.
The middle level is sunny and bright, with windows galore and views of the bay. There is a convenient full hall bath with shower as well as a queen bedroom with a flatscreen TV. The laundry room is also located on this level. The spacious great room offers vaulted ceilings, plenty of seating for game night, and a flatscreen TV. The kitchen located off the great room boasts sparkling black granite counters that nicely accent the stainless steel appliances. Well-equipped cabinets offer everything you need for meal preparation. One of this homes best features is the Florida Room, located off the great room (also with flatscreen TV). Here you will find cozy furnishings, bay views, and access to the outside deck.
The upper level offers a beautiful view of the great room below, as well as two king bedrooms with private baths: one with a jacuzzi tub and shower and the other with a shower. Beach access is a quick walk down Whiting Lane, there is also convenient drop-off area if you chose rent a golf cart or drive to the beach. A Sail Away is always a perfect choice for your Sandbridge getaway!

Amenities include multiple flatscreen TVs throughout, free WiFi, gas grill, an outside enclosed shower, jacuzzi tub, a firepit, a boat dock, a walk-in kayak and canoe ramp, and easy beach access.

We enjoyed sunset kayaking from the canal to the Bay. However, the launch was a slimy mess and my husband slipped while trying to rake it out. Unfortunately a mild concussion and 4 broken ribs on the first day of our vacation. Also, the deck and chairs had to be hosed down before anyone could use because of mud and spiders. Swarms of midges made the outdoor shower unusable as well. The property is lovely, but needs better care. Yes, the house is older and needs attention as well.Large spiders under the chair cushions, a towel rack fell off the wall, old kitchen cabinets,...All of the appliances were in working order including the dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Grill(we replaced the empty propane)Indoor Showers.. We were able to make the best of it all anyway. Just could be better.

I love the house very roomy, with the exception, it has to many spiders and mosquitos the out side porches is useless with to many mosquitos or what ever they are, good location.
This was one of our morning very nice place to unwind

Exceeded my expectations

Plenty of space, huge kitchen. Great backyard on the water. Easy access to beach.We didn't get the greatest weather, but it was a terrific week.

The house is fantastic! Kids got to fish on the dock. Turtles in the bay in the morning while drinking coffee. House was very clean and pretty.Quick walk to the beach. We had a great stay thank you!

Great Weekend Vacation

All 7 of our party absolutely loved this house! The kitchen is spacious and very well stocked. The spacious interior of the home allowed everyone present to have their own space without feeling overcrowded at all. The outside areas are amazing as well. The floating dock was well used by our fishermen. The privacy of the home with the trees and other vegetation was a very pleasant surprise. We all will highly recommend this home and hope to return here again!

home away from home

The property was very nice, well stocked with everything you need away from home. Great location....just a short walk to the beach. There was only one minor problem. There were a lot of spiders in the home. I contacted the property manager and someone came by right away to address the problem. Other than that it was an enjoyable, relaxing stay. I will definately be back again if it's availabe.

Things should be in working order for this expensive of a rental.

We liked the property but there were several nonworking aspects: the grill did not heat up (so we had to cook indoors), the overhead shower in the master bedroom did not work, and the lights in the master bedroom did not work (including bedside table lamps). This was an inconvenience, so we probably won’t rent this property again.
