“We really enjoyed our getaway at Hillside Cabin! The space is fantastic, our dog loved the fenced in area, and it was so convenient to get to from St. Louis. Cristina and Tim were very accommodating our entire stay. We hope to return some day!”

“This place is the best kept secret i never knew about! I’ve lived in the area for ten years and have a family member one mile from this place and have never realized this secret hideaway was so close to home! It really is a place to disconnect from the rest of the world yet be close enough to town to grab a meal as there is no stove or run to the store and get back again quickly. No WiFi to distract you from being able to get on your phone, and no tv to really allow you to disconnect and tune...

“We liked the cabin and my grandkids like feeding the fish and playing in the water.There where just 2 things that bothered me.The black ants where bad and the kitchen oven was really dirty.Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much.”

“We liked the place and enjoyed the deck. Wish we could of got the firepit going. I didn't realize it was a ladder to the loft (extra beds) instead of stairs. Was not feasible for senior citizen women. The rollaway on the lower level was not very comfortable. I also didn't realize it was only a mini fridge and no stove. My error, need to check more closely when booking. We did enjoy our stay and got to visit 9 wineries and some beautiful scenery. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.”

“The coat rack inside the front t door needs to be a bit beefier, and better lighting down the stairs to the hot tub - maybe some kind of light/lantern at the hot tub as well - we had to use our cell phone lights”
