Charming property and well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and furniture however Not enough hot water for 6 people, no crib available for baby; had to purchase our own. Had to clean when we arrived. Lack of timely response from property manager.

Quaint, beautiful old farmhouse

So glad we chose MacMillan Point Farmhouse for our visit to the magical little land that is PEI! We were looking for a place that would take us back to yesteryear & this fit the bill nicely. We had such a lovely time here! Spent long mornings sipping coffee on the old front porch, days exploring our beloved "Anne Land" & evenings hanging out in the cozy kitchen, planning the next day's adventures. Great location...close proximity to all the best that the Island has to offer!

We absolutely loved our stay at this farmhouse! It was so well equipped, with lots of room for our big group. Great location, about 20 mins from Charlottetown and we enjoyed Ross Lane Beach which was quieter than Brackley! Beds were comfortable and the house was clean for our arrival. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful, quiet, and historical

Clean and tidy rental with the historical charm we were looking for and close enough to all the places we like to visit when on the island. Excellent space and would recommend to all who are looking for a charming place to stay!

PEI 2023

Central location and plenty of space for family. Everything you need is available. CONS Mold in the basement. Very concerning. Shower pressure on second floor was terrible. Water from fridge had partials floating around so we didn’t drink that. Had to fix a toilet chain on main floor. Lot of mosquitoes so a screened area would have been nice. We enjoyed our stay but would not book this home again.

PEI CAVENDISH BEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL

Love this location. Very clean lots of room for our group of ten. Next year might book again depending on who is the entertainers at the concert. Great house for a large group.

Annual Girls Golf Getaway

We had planned to visit PEI just before COVID struck and everyone went into lockdown. As a group of retired women, we sought a house with sufficient space and bathrooms for our week away. The house was perfect - we ate breakfast their and cooked our dinners there. The airport is very close for pickup and drop off. We chose golf courses all over the island so we experienced quite a bit along with our touring day and dinner in Charlottetown. I recommend this house for families or groups of friends and Dean was awesome to deal with.

Great place to slow down

We loved staying in this restored farmhouse. It was a great place to relax and have some family time while also being a great home base for exploring the island.

Gorgeous Farmhouse!

Amazing! The online pictures do not do this house justice. The decor and modern furniture are so beautiful in person. Whoever did the decorating has a lovely eye! Bedrooms all had super cozy quilts, bedside rugs and the beds were very comfortable. We had more then enough room with 4 kids and 4 adults. The property is incredible, we only wish we could have used the outside more. The mosquitoes were craaaaazy day and night so sadly we were only able to eat outside once on the cute patio. The house had everything we needed - even including extras like beach umbrellas, yoga mats, coolers and ice packs. Fridge has a water filter and ice maker and there is also an extra beer/wine fridge. Note that the garbage collector comes early evening, not the morning after you put the garbage out. He showed up at 5pm the night we were supposed to take it out so we didn’t have a chance to put it outside unfortunately. I am very sensitive to fragrances so was very pleased they had washed the towels in scent free detergent before our stay. Beach towels and sheets were scented but we just gave them a wash before using. I miss PEI already. The house is centrally located within an easy drive to Charlottetown and Cavendish. Brackley beach was delightful! New Glasgow Lobster Supper and Blue Mussel Cafe are a must!

Cozy country house

Nice house in a very quiet area. It was clean and comfortable. We had two issues; 1) very slow internet, and 2) problems with the alarm system. Internet speed really needs to be updated as it is almost unusable.

Perfect place

I booked this property as part of the rest period on our road trips through the Maritimes. I have gotten many compliments on my plan, but none more than on selection on this property. The price was right and we had way more space than we actually needed. 4 bathrooms is a big deal when 8 people are all trying to get ready at the same time. When we got to the house the wifi wasn't working and the carafe from the coffee pot was missing, but both things were taken care of by property manager within a couple of hours. House is very well stocked, we were able to cook a large and elaborate seafood dinner and have found every single kitchen utensil we needed. We spent every night by the campfire outside. Location is ideal - less than 20 minutes to Charlottetown and about 15 to Brackley Beach. Supermarkets and other stores about the same distance away. I would rent this house every time if I was a regular visitor to PEI

LOVED IT!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house is cozy, clean and beautiful. It is equipped with everything that you can ever need. The location is perfect too. I will return to this house again 100%.

Charming farmhouse

We stayed at the Macmillan Homestead with another family of four mid August and had a wonderful experience. The setting of the house was perfect. Beautiful country scenery, tranquility and a great location close to the PEI National park, Brackley beach and only about 20 minutes to Charlottetown. The house had everything necessary. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, there were lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and a wonderful eating space for both indoor and outdoor dining. Plus, the house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone traveling to the area.

Great property and house, very well equipped for an amazing holiday experience on PEI.

Beautiful location with lots of space and only a short trip to Brackley Beach. Big house with lots of rooms and very well equipped, so that we could enjoy some lobster at the house as well.

This farmhouse is beautifully decorated and outfitted with thoughtful items to make a holiday.

This historic farmhouse is beautifully renovated and on a wonderful quiet site. It is centrally located and we found everything we needed for a group of 5 including separate bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It is a perfect example of getting to enjoy PEI surroundings and a quaint earlier era with modern amenities.
