I recently stayed at Saint Martin Beach Hotel from Thursday, November 6- Sunday November 9th and while the staff was excellent, my overall experience was disappointing due to several issues The staff were friendly and helpful, which was a bright spot in our stay. Unfortunately, we had no hot water during our visit, which was quite inconvenient. The shower head didn’t work properly, forcing us to use the handheld option instead. The hallway rugs were unclean, which detracted from the overall appearance of the property. The place felt empty; we might have been the only couple there, which contributed to a lack of atmosphere. Only two pools were open, and we were disappointed to find out that we were forced to have a buffet dinner on our first night due to not enough guests for the restaurant to open. The bar closed at 10 PM, and I was unable to order a mojito because they didn’t have the ingredients available. The pool lounge chairs looked like they hadn’t been used in years, which was off-putting. We had to ask daily for the mini bar to be replenished, which was frustrating. Couldn’t fit the rest of my review!

We arrived at the resort a little Leary because of the reviews we seen prior. We couldn’t have asked for a better visit. The food was so delicious so French. Our service was so accommodating. The pool outside our room was so refreshing. The beach and pool was so beautiful. We can’t wait to come back again to enjoy peace and quiet drinks and delicious food. Thank you to everyone at our resort we had an amazing time. See you soon

I loved the hotel food, the food was excellent. The staff was excellent. Steeve was really helpful and nice. Room service was excellent and the rooms were beautiful. The only downside of the property when eating breakfast & lunch the FANS were broken to keep the flies away. Dinner was excellent by it being indoors. The beach was amazing thanks for having us!

the staff was great so it saddens me to leave this reviews but this resort is not up to par at all. It does not have lots of food options, it is way too far to enjoy anything the island offers and not many activists on the resort. The dining hall was filled with flies and closed quite early with very limited options, food was always cold.

Resort used to be secrets, now under new name and ownership. We came in the middle of the week and were the only people there. It was a ghost town. There was nothing to do and dining was only limited to one buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner due to low occupancy. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The room was beautiful and clean. The pool and beach were also lovely. The location is on the French side so things to do around there is extremely limited. Taxi out of there is expensive $50 each way to and from any form of civilization. Your best bet is to rent a car. If you’re looking for a true all inclusive look elsewhere for now until this resort gets fully operational.

The hot tub and swim up bar were closed during our stay due to renovations and were not advertised. The ocean view restaurant was also shut down. The only options were the buffet, and a plain banquet hall style restaurant. As well as a Japanese style restaurant that you could barely get reservations for or wait over an hour and half to eat at and were rushed out of there. No night life or activities. Only 2 bars open during day and one at night. No beach drink orders. Very small beach. If it were advertised as is, we would have gone somewhere else. St Martin and Anguilla was beautiful though.

The staff was not very pleasant nor helpful. Property needs to be majorly rehab. Overhaul too many mosquitoes and bugs needs to be fumigated.

Very boring all inclusive. The service was okay, the food was not good and not many options of restaurants. One restaurant we went into had a cockroach crawling right beside our table. For breakfast birds were flying all over the place inside. the best thing about this hotel i would say is the beach. but honestly would not return, especially for the price. not much to do on the property, not many food options, very far from the city and many other popular places. Also, our taxi driver was good at the beginning but then changed price without telling us beforehand and decided to not pick us up for our last day to get to the airport. worst all inclusive i’ve been.

Nobody has cared for this property. You see rotten wood on the staircases, part of the lobby roof leaked. They said they did renovation after the hurricane but what they did made it worse. The front fountain doesn’t work, isn’t it supposed look nice when you enter a resort?The pool is nice but you don’t see them really clean it. The main night spot to sit and meet people the wicker couches and chairs don’t have cushions. Has anybody sat on a wicker chair with no cushion. You feel the metal structure that’s holding the chair together. When it rained you would be sitting in puddles as they’d only clean and wipe in the morning. They assume if they put a sign out that it’s slippery it negates them from doing anything about it. The buffet was ridiculous. No real choices, the fish was either raw or burnt along with the chicken and pork. There were only a few staff that were nice. The other staff were lazy and it was as if you were bothering them. I asked for a coke and they gave me a can sitting on the counter. I asked if I could have one out of the fridge and it was a chore . I guess too lazy to bend over. You saw lots of managers but not doing anything except standing around. They should open their eyes and really look at what staff do and correct it. It’s truly sad as I was at this same resort when it was a Riu and had an amazing time. They cleaned, food was good and all the staff were friendly. I would never go back to a Secrets. My first and onlyDefinitely not worth the money

The customer service was very good. Everyone was nice and very accommodating; however, I asked to be moved as my room smelled like mildew. The room I moved to had roaches, backdoor was broken and would not lock, front door security lock was broken off. The pool was not cleaned and sand was in the pool. The restaurant had too many flies and mosquitos and I could not enjoy the food, often having to leave hungry. The flies also covered the food during breakfast. Birds fly in and try to take your food. The bars often ran out of main ingredients or liquor to make drinks daily. The pool bar closed at 5:30pm and 6 on Friday and Sat. The best restaurant (Japanese) was only open once during a 4 day stay. There was no Wi-Fi available by the pools. The Excursion desk was closed Fri-Sun. There was a lack of entertainment and really nothing to do here. I was very disappointed and I felt like I spent a lot of money to have this Secrets experience...I will not be returning to this resort and I wish I could get a refund...This resort gave me Red Roof Inn vibes...

Very nice and clean. Staff was great. Property and area outdated. Swim up bar was not a swim up bar. Couldn’t get a drink in pool had to get out to get a drink. Theater closed and some other areas not open. So not much to do. No activities going on daily as the brochure showed. Need some upgrades and more for the price paid to go back.
