Downtown and south Austin dining and nightlife are only a short ride away. Come home to your awesome private space with an up-to-date kitchen, three bedrooms, living and dining room, laundry and best of all ... private backyard with a patio and pool.
The space
Close to the best that the city has to offer, but with your own quiet space to come home to. The house features a brand new pool. Three bedrooms are available for sleeping, plus a game room with a sofa bed.

The kitchen has stainless appliances and a farmhouse sink. It has a microwave, toaster, and new cabinets and countertops. There's a full sized washer and dryer in the laundry area. Two full and one half-bath means there's space for everybody.

Close to the city's best. It's under 10 minutes from the house to Austin's famous South Congress Ave and just a moment more to 6th Street. Many of Austin's best known restaurants on South Lamar, South 1st, and Congress Avenues are also under 10 minutes away. Stay with us and you won't be spending time out in the suburbs or in traffic.

Other things to note
-The pool is ungated and uncovered as well as the hot tub. As a result this house is not suitable for children under 12 years old or children who can not swim.
-Please note this is a quiet neighborhood. -Please respect our neighbors - absolutely no parties. We have a great relationship with them and would like to maintain that!
-There is a bus stop nearby but overall would recommend having a car to get around
- Please note that we do live in an area by a creek and our neighbors do have chickens. Despite our best efforts including paying for pest control monthly and setting traps there are times in the house a cockroach or two may scurry in. We do leave insect spray as well. Austin is notorious for having cockroaches that hard to get rid of - a simple search on the internet will reveal that. We like to be upfront so there are no surprises - it is not an issue of cleanliness but of Austin being in a humid climate.
-This is my home and not a house I just bought to make an Airbnb. I will do my best to accommodate any requests that I can to make your stay be more comfortable. However I am not a 4-5 star hotel and some things may not be as perfect- please let me know so I can address it.
