He even prepared me a tea in the morning, explained how to explore George Town in a day (coz I was there for one day only), even help me sorted with my lost baggage issues. Would stay more days in the future trip to Penang.”

“On arrival thought the place was very good, easy checkin, friendly staff, decent sized room etc. Easy walk in the evening to Chullia St Hawker Stalls for a really good meal. All over the hotel there were signs about no noise after 10pm all was fine till 3am when the noise the door banging, running up & down the very old, very noisy stairwell this went on & off till 5am. We don’t expect complete quiet in a hotel at night & do realise people are on holidays but this was the worst I’d heard in...

“There was no one to open the locked front door when we arrived. Had to call up their contact number and the concerned person reached after 5-10 minutes while we waited outside with all our luggage. There is no front desk staff most of the time which leaves us with none to help with any needed information. The room is extremely congested as well.”

“Fräscht och bra hotell! Bra läge med väldigt nära till flera köpcentrum och busstationen, vilket gör det enkelt att ta sig runt på ön för bara några kronor. En kort promenad ner till den gamla delen av staden. Trevligt med kaffe och kakor/snacks som fanns att tillgå i lobbyn under dagarna. Helt okej frukost”

“Very nice location and a very nice old, historic building! I had a large superior room to myself with lots of room, good AC and comfortable bed. The only downside was that the three toilets were shared among many, and not always that clean. Breakfast was only toast and peanutbutter. I had very good advice from the staff with activities and tickets.”
