“We had arrived in Paris after a 10-hour transatlantic flight, taken the TGV to Lyon, and driven our rental car to St. Albans. We planned to stay two nights to recuperate from jet lag. St. Albans is filled with narrow streets that seem to have more traffic than you would expect in a small town. “Top locatie en heel fijn huis. Midden in dorp, bij water, fietsverhuur, bar/restaurant, maar toch rustig gelegen. Huis is voorzien van alle gemakken. Er zijn nog wat kleine puntjes die op de i mogen worden gezet, al gemeld aan de beheerder. Deze waren haar al bekend. Ongeving is prachtig om te fietsen, mountainbiken of wandelen. Het meer is leuk om te suppen of kanoen. Echt aan het strand liggen kun je niet geel leuk. Daar hadden ze wel wat leukerd van kunnen maken. Gelukkig loop je in 2 minuten...
