Not only is this lovely, well appointed, renovated vacation home only a few minutes' walk to the beach, it is only a short walk to the trolley stop, located at Seawall and 45th St.! What a fun and easy way to get around the island.

This 2-story, spacious vacation home is perfect for gathering with family and friends and has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. There is a 2-car oversized detached garage available for your convenience. This is a real plus as parking is very tight on the island, especially during the summer months.

This vacation retreat is beautifully decorated with a wonderful mix of modern-day and restored antique finishes, for your enjoyment.

Come visit "Blue Gumbo" and feel the Gulf breeze on your face as you enjoy watching the sky transition to sunset colors from the second-floor balcony.

A family friendly and super fun getaway!

This was our very first rental through VRBO and we are simply amazed. Our family had the most amazing time at the Blue Gumbo house. It is exactly as you see in the pictures. It is newly renovated. The proximity to the beach, a couple of restaurants being within the walking distance, covered garage, spacious backyard, and the location (quiet street) itself were among the best parts about this house. Anything you would need in a normal home was available in the house. Kitchen was well stocked with pretty much everything you would need. Overall, everyone in our family had a wonderful time! We HIGHLY recommend this house to anyone looking to rent a house, especially families with kids.
