Sitting on the side of the mountain in downtown Helen, this cozy little cabin for two is the perfect getaway rental.

Snuggle up on the sofa, turn up the gas logs and find your favorite television show. The loft bedroom is perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. Melt away tension in the downstairs bath with both a walk-in shower and a jacuzzi tub. The fully equipped kitchen gives you the option of cooking all your meals in the holiday home. There is a Keurig coffee maker for your convenience. The outdoor electric grill heats quickly for dinners on the barbeque. Relax and unwind in the new hot tub on the front covered deck. Should you decide to venture out, you are in downtown Helen within a blink of an eye!

• Minimum Age Requirement: Alpine Creek is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The roads are paved up to the cabin. The driveway is short and steep. Low profile sports vehicles not recommended.
• Pets: Alpine Creek is Not pet-friendly. No pets allowed.
• Location: In downtown Helen.

I was so looking forward to staying at this cabin, but was a bit disappointed with a couples things. First off, it was pretty obvious it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. There was dust on every surface, the utensils and pans were still dirty, there was what felt like sand in the sheets, hair in the shower, etc. In addition, and the most disappointing was the jetted tub. The hot water doesn’t even last long enough to fill half of it. Making it just about as good as a tiny apartment tub. We were really looking forward to a proper bath since we don’t have tubs, but only showers at home. It is really only good for those who want a very cold bath. Thank goodness the hot tub worked, but since it was so hot that weekend we used it very minimal. It’s obvious they are trying to sell the place and just aren’t taking care of it in between bookings. Pros are the location, privacy, communication, and it would actually be a really great romantic getaway if it was clean and the tub was able to fill with warm water.

Very clean, very private.… See my picture. It will help you find the place. When you come to the four-way stop. Go across the bridge and straight ahead. You will see a one lane road going up the hill. Take that road about 1/3 of a mile. There is five cabins on the right. This one is at the bottom and very private. You can get into the hot tub outside and no one can see you. Make sure you have the code to the door. Because it can lock behind you.

This place was perfect for a couple. It felt tucked away and private even though it’s super close to all the action in Helen. We even saw a deer right off of the deck, and a bobcat near the house! It is next to other cabins, but faces in a way that feels very private and serene. Absolutely loved the patio and hot tub set up. Only negative and fair warning- the driveway is very steep and treacherous for flat land folks! I made my fiance deal with that. No 4 wheel drive needed, though.

Beautiful and cozy

Management was super easy to work with. Our grill was electric and when we asked for a gas or charcoal, they delivered one that day. Highly recommend. The cabin was very clean and well decorated. Everything we could need was provided.

Tiny and very cozy

The house is tiny and simple, but very cozy. The hottub was wonderful, and the twinkly lights above it added a nice touch. We did have a problem with ants for what ever reason but it didn't hinder us from enjoying our stay. Management was very helpful and accommodating.

Cute cabin with Awesome hot tub

Our stay was wonderful, cabin was great. A little sad the hot water in the cabin doesn't last long enough to fill the jacuzzi tub. There is a hot tub on the porch which is awesome, we just wanted to watch a movie from the tub and couldn't because the water turned cold without having been on long. Overall good experience.

Our stay

We had the perfect couples get away. The cabin was beautiful and perfect for the two of us, and the fire place in view of the tub was not a bad touch! A lot of bird watching, and we saw about 13 deer our last morning. It was the breath of fresh air we both needed. Thank you so much for sharing your space!
