The house was big and beautiful with lots of amenities. The overall price for the house and horseback riding (which was separate) was quite expensive. They did allow us to check out later than posted due to the time in between checkout and our scheduled trail ride, which was very nice of them. The employees doing the pony rides for kids was not informed that we would be having two kids attending, so unfortunately they did not get the full experience. They did take a ride around inside of the barn verses outside on the farm, on a big horse so at least they were able to ride. The owners were very nice and overall we really enjoyed our time!

We enjoyed our stay! We had 12 people stay and there was plenty of space to be close or spread out. Our kids enjoyed the wrap around porch and being outside with visiting the farm. Everything was well stocked and very clean! We would definitely stay here again for our next family get together!

We've stayed here twice now and have loved it both times! It's PERFECT for kids with the outdoor space, animals to pet, and horses to go see. We had 8 adults and 7 kids (aged 3 and under). The house is perfect size to fit our big group and allows space for us adults to have fun after the kids are down at night. Kitchen is spacious and works for all of us too. Amazing staff down at the barn helped us and allowed the kids to experience the horses. Highly recommend!

A great place to stay for large family gatherings. We rented the cottage for our niece’s wedding that was held on the large property. Kitchen is well stocked. The bathrooms could use a little TLC, but otherwise it is was lovely.

Good place for us and our favorite people

Quiet and convenient spot for our happenings in Brownsburg and Lizton for a long weekend with all of our closest friends! Although there were some issues with bugs and cleanliness of the property when we arrived, communication with the owner was quick and the problems were taken care of within the hour. The home shows some age, but great for hosting a large group!

Wedding weekend

Our daughter got married in linzton and we rented the cabin and her mom rented the cottage. It was amazing. Clean. Close to the event site. Cool animals. And a great pond.

Family getaway

The Cottage afforded my family party of ten the perfect space. Every individual couple/family had their own bedroom and bathroom space. The kitchen and dining area was excellent for preparing food and playing games all at the same time. Chuck and Marie, the owners, are responsive to all communication but we never have any problems and always enjoy our stay!

Family time & convenience

The house was beautiful (hard to imagine it not being someone's family home). Spacious for the kids to enjoy & the adults to spread out. Plenty of bathrooms, beds, tvs, etc. Little ones enjoyed the animals. Convenient to the venue (Ash & Oak) for a wedding. Owners were very accomodating to our schedule. Our only complaint was there were no sheets on master bed & we had to retrieve washclothes from dryer. We didn't bother owners about the sheets because it was late before we realized it & we made due with smaller size we found in a closet. We discovered the correct size still in washer on the day we left when starting the bedding we used. We also had to empty the dishwasher before loading with dishes we used. Just appeared someone started laundry & dishwasher but never returned to finish before we arrived. That could've been due to our schedule so still left 5 star rating.

Family Trip

Decided to find a location that would have lots of room for the kids to play. Plenty of room and parking. The petting zoo was also a hit with the kids. Close enough to activities, but not right in Indianapolis and in an nice area.

Life Group Weekend

The house was absolutely perfect for our size group. We had 4 separate couples (8 adults), 4 two year olds, and 3 infants 3M-10M old. The house provided us with the perfect amount of space to have our own bedrooms, bathrooms, and play space for the kids. In the evenings, once the kids went to bed, the adults were able to go down to the basement and play games without being worried about waking the kids up. We had an amazing time being able to hang out with our friends for the weekend. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils and the property was absolutely beautiful and perfect for all the kids to run around and get energy out. I caught 5 bluegill at the pond in a matter of 20-30min and the petting zoo was really fun for the kids.

Amazing!!

Absolutely fabulous stay. Huge, comfortable home in a beautiful setting! Stayed here with my two daughters (21 & 27) and my oldest’s sister in law for the Taylor Swift concert. Easy to pre book and Uber to the stadium. Great communication and this home just oozes comfort, family and love. The kitchen is fully stocked and the pantry had a number of things I usually need to buy (3 different kinds of syrup). Our shoulders were looser in this lovely place. We all want to return with a bigger group. Highly recommend!
