Nice condo in the mountain

The condo was clean and comfortable, however, Vacasa was kind of a pain. Our check in time was at 4:00, we arrived around 4:15 and the cleaning person was there finishing up, we waited about her 15 minutes for them to finish, no big deal. But I then got a voicemail from Vacasa at 4:35 stating they needed to push our check in time from 4:00 to 5:30 as the cleaning person was still there. We were already in the condo at this point but I found it very irritating that they would call 35 minutes after check in time to push back our check in. Most people plan their drive accordingly to arrive around the check in time, which is what we did, not an hour and a half later. Also, the code to the door was incorrect so I had to call them to get that fixed. They were attentive and handled the problem quickly tho. So, overall the condo was nice but Vacasa was a bit of a headache.

Girls trip

The place was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect size for our group. It could use better lighting and some updates. The beds were not the best quality, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Old condo with some sort of "improvement" going on. Very uncomfortable couch and bed. the cabinetry in the bedroom and living room was refinished by an rank amateur. The interior painting was poorly done. Its time to take this unit off the market or rehab it to today's standards. It is a 1 *, if that.

Modern, very close to ski lifts, easy to find access, great tv steaming, full size refrigerator, everything you need in the kitchen, extra blankets, plenty of space with good heating.

Great Location

Great location near the base of Mount Killington with easy access to the slopes, gondola, and such. There's a bunch of restaurants around the area that are east to get to down the main service road. While other reviews commenting that the decor in general is pretty dated, that's pretty obvious from the pictures. Some things have been updated such as the couch and TVs but overall it's pretty dated. The only downsides for me were that the fireplaces are all out of order due to a safety issue and the water in the building tastes gross. Otherwise, it's a lovely place to base yourself out of and serves its purpose as a place to sleep.

VRBO is great, Vacasa is the worst

Been w/ VRBO around the world for roughly a decade. Love it! Always had a great experience from St. Andrews Scotland to SanFrancisco, CA and everywhere in between. THIS experience with Vacasa was the worst I've had lifetime. With VRBO, I typically receive responses from owners in hours, but certainly within a day. No response from Vacasa in 9 days....after 3 attempts, I finally received a response that didn't address my questions. Attempted to move my 3-night stay by 1 day (M/T/W nights move to S/M/T nights)...better for me, and better for owner b/c I was taking a single day they didn't have rented between two bookings and freeing up a day they could book. I was told i could add a day and be charged extra but they wouldn't credit the Wed night stay. I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone to talk w/ a manager about this. B/c of their inflexibility, we decided to leave our reservations as is. When we got there at 5pm, the door code didn't work. We sat in the hallway with our bags for nearly an hour while I attempted to get a code which would work. They kept giving me codes that didn't work. After half hour, I finally said that maybe they should send someone from the management company to let us in with a key while they figure out the problem, but they stated that 'they could put an a request but couldn't guarantee anyone could get there that evening'. WHAT?! I could go on about how only one of the two beds had a complete set of sheets, etc...(in a 7am call w/ Vacasa after the first night I requested they drop off a complete set of sheets and a blanket before that evening, they responded that 'they could put in a request but couldn't guarantee that we'd have bedding by that night'. Unbelievable!! You get the point. Vacasa has serious problems. Again, I've been execeptionaly happy with all of my VRBO experiences around the world until this particular stay and the problems were all to do with Vacasa's management, not the property itself.

Stale Smoke and No linens

This was a frustrating stay. We were sent an incorrect door code first thing…that was remedied pretty quickly. Then we entered the unit and found no sheets or pillows for the sofabed. That was not remedied for 24hrs so our kids slept on a pullout couch without sheets….very upsetting. Compound that with the stale smell of cigarettes in the unit and I would stay clear if this one.

Decent getaway

Great price and location

The halls and stairwells are outdated. The condo is a bit outdated but for the price totally worth it. My big complaint is it would have been really good to know the sauna, steam room, indoor pool and hot tub are only open Labor Day to Easter. That was a disappointment. Once I moved past that - the outdoor pool is salt water and heated. Really nice! With the pricing of the room we splurged on a charcuterie board, massages and sushi. We had a great staycation!

Subpar conditions for VRBO

This unit reminded me of a first apartment one might have, dated, with maintenance issues. Ceiling tiles in bathroom stained and looked like they would fall in the shower. No bathroom light fixture, only bare bulbs, rusty knives, remote control batteries were dead, no TV instructions. Bed was hard. Best part was the pool and the lovely garden in front of it. For skiiers, it's close to Killington, just walk over. This unit needs an upgrade and attention.

Perfect location

We were looking for a last min stay near kilington. This place was just what we needed. The proximity was super close. You can take the shuttle or drive over yourself. The place was clean and had what we needed for a comfortable stay.

The worst location of my life

There is no hot water in the kitchen sink The oven top cooker was working on and off. Curtain are not hooked in the living room There are moisture spot in the bathroom. Overall aspect is creepy.

Excellent location

The location of this rental property was outstanding right at the base of the mountain! Shuttle service was excellent as well! Condo was comfortable for 4 people but a bit dated! The pull out couch was not great and the tv in the bedroom did not work. The check in was completely easy and the amenities indoor pool , hot tubs, etc were awesome after a long day of skiing. Overall we had a great experience .

only one blanket for 4 persons.

Check in with keypad, no counter service in mountain green. Only one blanket in the room for 4 of us. Next day on Monday 10 am went to main building looking for help. We found only maintenance dept open with maintenance guys but No one can help in the main building.. They asked us to call who we booked from. End up we drove 25 miles to Rudland to buy 3 blankets for ramainting 3 nights.
