Closing

Little disappointed at check in to find that the hotel was closing 10 days after our arrival. Because of this, I was told there would be no housekeeping for out 3 night stay. There was only anolog tv. Broken items in the room and hotel were just left as such since the closing date was in sight. The office chair was filthy. Would be nice if Expedia search function took any hotels on the books to close off the list.

Le déjeuner continental était vraiment décevant. Très peu de choses disponibles. A part cela, c'est un hôtel correct. Le personnel était très courtoit.

Great downtown option

A reasonably priced hotel close to many attractions. Great location for Winterlude, only 2 blocks from the canal. Spacious rooms. Slighly dated but well kept.

Third year in a row with you guys

In the winter, you guys need boot trays in your rooms, and your breakfast kinda sucks, but I mean it is included so I guess it’s ok, you don’t need to add eggs and bacon, but maybe some more healthy options, or at least another toaster

Basic hotel with good location to downtown

Hotel is basic. There is a kitchen suite, but no room safe. Parking is limited, but hotel has alternatives. Easy walking distance to downtown and winterlude activities.

centrally located.

Price advertised on expedia was not the actual price, It was significantly more than advertised. Nice little unit - nothing fancy and obviously old carpets that had seen better days, and walls and doors that had been painted multiple times. Probably as clean as it would ever get. Small kitchen with microwave, fridge, older stove. Small living room with couch, reclining chair and tv. Very small bathroom with shower/tub -but controls allow for shower only. Very small bedroom with king-size bed and one end table. Closet with shelving. Chest of drawers in the living room doubling as a tv stand. I think the biggest complaint for me were the cost saving measures. You have a coffee pot with ingredients on arrival but there is a charge if you want them replaced the next day. Continental breakfast has the least amount of choices I have ever seen, although you can make your own waffles. Located conveniently close to the Winterlude and the Rideau Canal, and multiple restaurants.
