“I am a bit biased as this chateau was the home of one of my ancestors in the 16th century. I took my 85 year old father there with other members of our family for about a week. It was an excellent base for our side trips to Poitiers, Tours and La Rochelle. In several rooms, here are copies of a well researched book (in French) telling the amazing history of the chateau. Richard the Lionheart and his mother Eleanor of Acquitaine stayed here. It can be a bit cool inside during cold weather because...

“Nous avons passés un excellent weekend dans cette belle propriété. Nous étions 4 couple d'amis avec chacun plusieurs enfants. Le grand jardin est idéal pour les jeux en plein air. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut en équipement. Les pièces, les chambres et salles d'eau sont grandes et permettent à chacun d'avoir son espace. On recommande !”
