Välkommen till detta perfekt belägna hus vid stranden av den natursköna Myaka-floden, med direkt tillgång till Charlotte Harbour och Mexikanska golfen. När du är inuti kan du koppla av under katedralens tak, med en öppen planlösning som innehåller ett stort, vitt porslin-kaklat, ätkök med en frukostbar, vilket leder till ett mycket rymligt stort rum med kabel-TV, WiFi-internet och ett professionellt organ , som ser ut över "Florida-rummet" och den gigantiska Lanai, som inrymmer spaet, och riktigt stor pool med vattenfall, genom skjutdörrarna och slutligen mot saltvattenkanalen.

Befälhavaren svit har en king size-säng, 42 "platt-TV med en DVD-spelare, privat badrum med två klädkammare, och har en stor kapacitet, och energieffektiv tvättmaskin och torktumlare, och erbjuder extra utrymme för lagring. Bed sheets not changed, coffee filter container had mold in it, no wifi and pool was not heated. Worst experience I have had with VRBO! Host needs to get it together!!! Very disappointed. Not recommended!!

WHAT A MONTH

We enjoyed our stay so much. It’s a great house and great location too everything. The pool was sooo nice. We enjoyed swimming in the heated pool so much. And the time in the sunshine felt wonderful.Len, the owner, was so pleasant to talk to and always available. I would definitely go back for another month if available.

Great place to take your boat!

House was very nice and large. The boat dock was also very nice and close to great fishing! We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed the pool!

Boys Fishing Trip

This property was perfect for us. We were able to dock our boat and make it simple to get on the qater in the morning. The house was very comfortable and clean! Would definitely stay again.

Nearly Perfect

Great location, easy check in, well provisioned kitchen and lovely pool. The canal out back is a stones throw from the Myakka River So if you come bring a rod and reel for some additional fun. Only downside was the lanai was blown off in one of the storms last fall and the sand gnats will eat you alive without bug spray. Which I'm not a fan pf putting onas it stinks.

Wonderful Experience

I would highly recommend a piece of heaven! The house was lovely, clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located. Additionally, the owner was very friendly and easy to contact. All six of us truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay there again in the future!

Great Location

We had a short weekend stay at A Piece of Heaven. The house is as described, still working on some hurricane damage but none the less everything works fine and the beds were comfortable. The pool is redone and great to cool off after a hot day exploring the town. The house is a great location if you are looking to bring a boat and be out on the water. The dock out back is new and provides plenty of room to dock a boat.

For what we paid for this house it worked out well for our trip. The only negative was the cleaning lady did not do a very good job but it was livable. The hurricane had done some damage but overall I would definitely stay there again. It was a good location between the towns we wanted to visit.

Great relaxing stay

We had a great time, the only thing was the hurricane damage has not been completely fixed so the pool and spa are not screened but it didn't affect us.

Nice Location

This property sits on a canal in a quite neighborhood near several excellent beaches. The home is large with ample sleeping arrangements and a nice pool and spa. The only negative is the remaining storm damage from Ian which the owner is working on. We stayed during Hurricane Idalia and the home held up well and kept us sheltered.

Great for family

The size and amenities of this property were just perfect for our family. Close enough to beaches and kids loved the pool. Pictures are old but style and set up of property is the same. Plenty of towels for bath and pool. Not the cleanest, I vacuumed the sunroom and got a whole bin of dog hair from previous stays. No laundry detergent for washing them as instructed for checkout.

Pools not heated

House is huge in a nice area, there is some hurricane damage still, but didnt effect comfort of house. However i only choose this listing for the heated pool. The pool was 61 degrees. Not heated. And after i figured out how to get the heater on. The water was still 63 degress 3 days later. Shouldnt be listed as a heated pool.

Loved our time here!

The house was very clean upon arrival. The pool area is absolutely stunning! The cage over the pool is no longer there due to the hurricane, but this was not a problem. The beds were comfortable. I loved the split plan of the house, putting the master on one side and the other two bedrooms on the other side of the house. The sun room was amazing! The sliding glass doors open all the way up to let the outside in! Len was a great host. He was very quick to respond when I reached out to him. Very helpful, thoughtful and nice. We loved the place! We will be returning!!!

OK Value but lots of issues

House is in need of repairs in several areas: * Toilet in ensuite bath is completely loose on the floor. This and its very low height make it difficult to use. * Main lights in ensuite bath were not functional * Shower floor trim tile had fallen off and was stored in the closet. * Bathroom counters (both bathrooms) are so low that they are difficult to use * Vertical blinds throughout house are in disrepair. In primary bedroom, the vertical blinds did not provide any privacy from the adjacent sun room and required to be covered by a sheet. * Bath towels were so worn out that we chose to purchase new towels for our use. * Front porch entry is so slick when wet that it poses a danger. Repositioning the matt helped with this. * Hurricane damage to lanai and dock is severe and not addressed. All other houses on street have addressed any storm damage. * Kitchen dishes/utensils were bad - completely dull knives, no cutting board * Garage door opener does not operate properly resulting in banging noise at end of travel. * Kitchen refrigerator ice maker worked erratically - made ice during about half of our stay.

Horrible

Read to the end. It got worse and worse. The owner doesn’t have access details in VRBO and never sent anything. It took more than 3 hours past check-in of calls, emails, and on hold with VRBO to get access. Once in, we first realized one bedroom had water damage and was so wet and mildew-smelling that we couldn’t use it. The carpet floor was covered in big wet stains. we rented a 3 bedroom home and couldn’t use it so the kids had to sleep on the couch all week. The home has visible structural type damage that we guessed allowed the water intrusion. At first the owner acted like he didn’t know about it but then said he did. There was mold in the showers, air handler was all moldy too. Floors were clean but nothing else was. Cabinets, doors, walls, curtains, tubs, showers. freezer, etc all dirty. The spa completely drained 3 times while we were there. The sliding glass doors don’t work. The grill l was told was there had a big “do not use” sign on it. The beds were made but the sheets were dirty. We even found dirty socks under the pillows. When we tried to find clean sheets we went through the whole linen closet and multiple sheets had blood stains. We spent the whole first night cleaning and doing laundry. We didn’t want to cancel the kids vacation. The hall bathroom door didn’t work well and we had to rehang it every time we used the shower. It even fell on my 8 year old. It was very scary. The stove and fridge do not work well. We bought steaks and they went bad in the fridge. When we rented it we picked it because it looked clean in the pictures and because of the outside area and location. All of the benches outside were broken. This house has not had a deep clean or any typical maintenance in a long time. I seriously think it has structural damage as well. It should not be allowed on VRBO especially since it has no property manager to take care of it. The owner is out of state. Also, we paid in full and then got an additional “power” bill that wasn’t in the listing details. The owner said Florida people just use too much A/C and blamed the pool. We should have known it wasn’t going to go well but there were so few places where we wanted that we could bring the boat. Overall, we will never use VRBO again. There’s no owner accountability and this property was not cared for.
