“We loved this place and would definitely recommend it. It lives up to the description and photos! The view is stunning day and night and it's 5 minutes from downtown. The kitchen was easy to cook in with everything we needed. We only gently heard faint footsteps upstairs and enjoyed being in someone's beautifully cared-for space. Only regret was not being there late enough in the season to see the gorgeous plantings come alive.”

His family home is beautifully designed and comfortable. The views are gorgeous and they truly have a piece of paradise there in Procter, BC. I was greeted with a delicious loaf of sourdough (still warm!) along with coffee staples which made feel at home right off the bat, such an appreciated welcome! Chara is a lovely host, attentive and responsive. The suite is walking distance to everything downtown and is super quiet and is very well equipped. It had great decor and artwork as well as organic local spices and coffee and other local products to use. The bed was so comfortable and every morning we took advantage of the incredible outside space with a gorgeous view of the mountains and water. We loved staying here and the details that were put into the house and property are done with real care and intention. It was hot while we were there, but the house is well built and insulated, so even though it doesn’t have any A/C, it holds its temperature and cools off at night when the windows are open. “Great property. Clean and spacious. Lots of things for the kids to do. The zipline was a huge hit. Hot tub was amazing and very clean. Was right beside some incredible mountain biking. There was also a fantastic running path right down the road that dogs can run off leash. The house itself was perfect. Lots of room for the kids to play and sleep comfortably. The ping pong table was also a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again. Probably one of the best houses we have ever rented on VRBO.”

“This was a great location for our day trips to halcyon and ainsworth Hot springs. Also a nice hike along the Kaslo River and a tour of the Moyie Sternwheeler. The hosts are very accommodating, responsive, and kind. We cooked a lot of meals in the home, and there are lots of pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils, salt and pepper, and food basics like butter, olive oil, condiments. No microwave, so keep that in mind. We would love to come back to the area and stay more nights.”
