This cabin is everything the post says it is, very clean and it’s in a perfect location. We was able to land several kings. I called Randy with a few questions before we left, and he was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to We will be back!

Spectacular property

This has by far been our best stay in Pulaski. The house was immaculate, close to a great fishing spot, and very welcoming. We are already booked for next year. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Beautiful spacious cabin stocked with everything you might need - utensils, pots/pans, dishware, mugs, wine glasses, bedding. Inside and outside of the cabin was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Short walk to the Salmon River through the woods. Bring your headlamp if you are going to the river early morning. We saw other people fishing but we weren't crowded in any way. Spicket on the outside of the cabin was great for cleaning gear and fish. Beds were comfortable, water pressure and temp was great. We did experience the sulfur smell in the water but came prepared with gallons and bottles of water. There is a regular coffee pot and a Keurig. Fridge is a nice size. Spacious parking and the private drive was nice since we pulled a trailer for all our gear. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Randy.

Salmon season

Just celebrated my 45th birthday with my wife and 4 kids. We had a great time. Loved it. Sulfur water is noticeable but tolerable. Only thing better could’ve been landing a Big king our back of the house - conditions aren’t the best just yet. Would definitely return.

Perfect weekend retreat

Had the pleasure of renting this cabin over Labor Day weekend with friends. We were very pleased with the cabin with it's spacious and well appointed amenities. The kitchen had all you would need for a relaxing vacation. Very close to sores, the center of Pulaski and with a few hours of Alexandria Bay and Old Forge. You will want to bring your own drinking and cooking water as the well water does have the sulfur smell. Other than that, the place was perfect. Would rent again!!!

Family Getaway at the Cabin

The cabin was every bit of what was described in the reviews! Spacious, well-furnished with sufficient household supplies such as towels and cooking utensils, and far more beautiful than the pictures show (really, it was amazing!). The water had the egg-smell but we brought our own water to drink and cook with so there was no problem. Careful with the sink water since it can get pretty hot! The wi-fi worked but it was slow and would disconnect a lot so probably not great for bringing work or watching movies on laptop. Every night we had dinner on the back deck which had a picnic table and BBQ grill. At the front porch, there is a wide space with fire pit that we set at the end the day to relax after a day’s fishing or seeing the Thousand Islands (you’ll need to bring your own firewood for the fire pit outside or a saw to cut up the many branches you will find in the back woods). There was a circle of trees around the cabin that did not block the night sky, we went star-gazing every night at the front and caught a lot of shooting stars during the Perseid meteor shower!! Really recommend for a relaxing getaway for the family to be in nature and would definitely love to come back soon!!!

GLORIOUS RIVER CABIN

We had the most extraordinary time staying here, summer 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. From the moment we arrived, my shoulders dropped and my breath relaxed. The setting is so peaceful, with trees all around, and the sound of the river. There's a large flat lawn, as well as a deck surrounded by trees, where we spent most of the time. The most incredible part for us was the private access to the river. We bought sturdy inner tubes and floated down the river EVERY SINGLE DAY. It was amazing! We are a family of three but the home has space for more: the layout is a main floor with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room, then stairs UP to a lovely loft (where my husband and I slept) and also stairs DOWN to a separate little almost-apartment, with a bedroom, living area, bathroom, washer/ dryer, and extra futon/ sleep space. The house is very sturdy and cozy, not fancy but not rundown like many rentals. Kitchen well stocked. Common sense caution - there's a good deal of poison ivy around (we forgot about this somehow and remembered the hard way!). Near the town with some good dining options, but remote enough to feel very separate. We stayed for three weeks in July, truly a respite. Thank you!

Great Cabin

We had a fantastic time. The cabin is perfect...spacious, clean and well appointed. Randy communicated with me just enough to make our stay easy. The water has a funny smell, but they are working on a solution for that. We bought gallons of water to cook with etc. Thanks for a great stay at an awesome cabin!

Perfect Getaway

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The cabin was impressively clean, spacious and well-stocked with miscellaneous. Randy was very prompt with responding to our messages. The cabin is tucked away behind a gated, wooded area giving you ultimate peace and quiet. The town is very rural and peaceful. There are not many restaurants or attractions, which was exactly what we were looking for. We bought all of our food and drink before hand, and didn't have to worry about looking for stores or restaurants. It was a perfect retreat in nature. Salmon River Falls, The Salmon River, Lake Ontario, The Black Hole (AMAZING) were just a few absolutely breathtaking sites. We brought a cooler with lunch and spent the entire day exploring, hiking and swimming. At night, the cabin is so spacious with a huge front yard and fire pit, and a beautiful back porch elevated about 25 feet off the ground (away from bugs!). Everything was absolutely beautiful about our stay. There are several breweries 30-45 minutes away and fun if you wanted to explore and eat away from the house. *The water is extremely sulfuric so prepare with extra water jugs to brush your teeth and drink. Showers were out of our norm because of the egg-y smell, but everything else was so great, we hardly even cared.

Peaceful and Quiet - We'll Likely Return

I highly recommend booking this cabin. 5* rating from us. We very much enjoyed our time. Our small group of 3 adults relished every minute at the cabin being away from the city over the 3 nights we had. The cabin has plenty of space and we never felt like we were on top of one another. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware. It was always crisp and cool inside. Relatively modern amenities. The cabin's deck (of which is very elevated, lessening the amount of bugs) layout overlooking the thick wooded area was likely our group's favorite place to hangout. A cup of coffee and sitting to hear the soundtrack of the birds and wind in the trees was perfect. The BBQ worked great and there are plenty of chairs/big picnic table to lay out a nice lunch/dinner spread. We ate outside for virtually ever meal over the 4 days/3 nights. Of note, the walk to the river is through a fairly thick wooded area, and there is a somewhat steep hill immediately off of the house. Once at the river (5 min. walk maybe), it's absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. You can see 2 other homes tucked away in the woods across the river and at times can hear, although faintly, road traffic. With that said, the immediate area down by the river is quite picturesque and beautiful. If you can carry a few items, it's a great spot to set up with a book and a drink and hang for hours. Overall, a great stay for the price point. We will likely book a return trip.

Great cabin

It feels remote, but is actually not far from the little town. Syracuse was a reasonable drive. Cabin was great and location on the river was very nice. We brought bottled water but the kids never got used to the water's sulfur smell. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the area.

Fall Trip

Cabin is perfect for our annual fishing trip. Great to be able to walk right to the river. Cabin is clean, provides good beds, place to cook meals, and a good place to gather after a long day fishing. Highly recommend.

private hideaway on the river

Had everything we needed. Plenty of sheets, blankets, towels. Kitchen well stocked with silverware, pots, pans, even baking trays. Had only 6 dinner plates. Very comfortable, not at all crowded with 6 adults. We enjoyed the privacy, set off the road in the woods. We made a campfire each evening, to end out the day. The water had a VERY BAD ODOR. Needed to be careful, poor water presure.

Great place!

Awesome cabin. 5 of us stayed with plenty of room. Plenty of room to park the boats in the drive way as well. The only thing the kept from getting 5 stars was the water. The house water had a lot of sulfur in it giving you that rotten egg smell. Also the water pressure would disappear if someone would flush a toilet while you are taking a shower.

Great weekend getaway!

This was a great cabin for a guys weekend. The place had everything you needed to have a great time. Very clean, comfortable for 4 guys, and great place to cook up the salmon you catch. Highly recommend.

Awesome Log Cabin

Wow! What an awesome log cabin in the woods! It is peacefully quiet and serine. The pictures on-line do not do this cabin justice. The cabin was immaculate and meticulously decorated for the fishing connoisseur. Luxurious living in the middle of the woods with access to the Salmon River. DirectTV, central air conditioning, fireplace, surround sound stereo in the cabin and on the large back deck. Kitchen was fully stocked, bedrooms had sheets, comforters and there were plenty of towels. Just bring yourself and some food. We felt safe as the home has a security system (though we never used it) and the entrance to the long driveway is gated. We would definitely come again. Owner Greg was great to work with. He made everything easy and made us feel at home. It is obvious that he puts a great deal of effort into the upkeep of this cabin. The water has a sulfur smell that may take some city folk a while to get used to 😉. You probably should not flush while someone else is in the shower. I was the lucky one on the bad end of that one 🥶. Memories to last forever.
