"We stayed for one night for a birthday celebration and had the best stay of our life. The room was amazing, spacious and nicely organised. Bathroom was really nice with a separate room for shower and bath tub. We spent a lot of time on the balcony and the view of the sunset was mesmerising. Service was on point, you really felt special and the common areas were clean and fresh. Infinity pool on 5th didn't allow children and had an amazing view. Gym.was really nice and you could get a good workout in. Breakfast had super.many options and was very tasty. Definitely recommend. "

"We had a barely OK stay at the Ritz Carlton Langkawi. The hotel is worn and could use maintenance. There are missing tiles in the pool, mosquito larvae in the children's pool. We woke up two nights in a row to renovation construction in the same house where we lived. Construction workers were sawing. As compensation we each got 4 chocolate pralines. The breakfast took an extremely long time from ordering to receiving it. Multiple wrong orders. Two cappuccinos took 20 minutes to get. Hey, come on, what is this? We always choose expensive and exclusive hotel chains, this was the first and last time we chose The Ritz Carlton. We chose a room with a rainforest view - a large part of the view was on concrete blocks."

"We had a decent stay at Tanjung Rhu Resort - you get what you pay for. Would unfortunately not classify the hotel as a five star, but completely OK. Both my wife and I cut our feet in the pool, so they started bleeding profusely. The ground in the pool is made of a stone/concrete mixture which makes it extremely sharp in many places. We unfortunately stopped swimming after this happened."

"Fint hotell med mindre poolområde. Ligger 5 minuters gångväg till stranden, alternativt så blir man körd till stranden med hotellets golfbil. Nära till många resturanger, finns säkert ett 20 tal inom 10 minuters gångväg. Ytterligare 10 minuters gångväg ligger den större byn med många fler restauranger samt ett stort antal affärer. Hotellet ligger på den lungnare delen, här finns knappt några barer. Enkelt att ta en grab om man inte orkar gå. Fantastisk fin frukost med stort utbud från hela världen. Poolområdet är litet med tanke på hur många som kan bo på hotellet. Européerna är snabba på morgonen att reservera de få solstolar som finns. Den största nackdelen är havet, när vi var där var det ingen som badade, dåligt sikt samt risk för jelly fish. Men det är knappast hotellets fel. "

"Vi hade 5 underbara dagar på resorten och trivdes med allt. God mat, fin strand, lugnt och skönt samt väldigt vänlig personal. Vi bodde i en fin ”djungelbungalov” med fin havsutsikt, viktigt att kolla om man tycker det är trevligt."
