“We spent a long winter weekend at Lake Indian. The cottage is very cozy, functional for a group of up to 8, in a bucolic setting with wonderful views of the mountains. When we came in the evening the thermostat was on low and the house was very cold. Temperature outside was around minus 15 F. first night was spent under several duvets. “We visited for my daughters birthday. And absolutely loved this gem of a cabin, the view was spectacular, the location very close to the ski resort and it met all of our families needs. We were welcomed with a yummy jar of home made apple jam and had great communication with the owners. we will definitely come back.”

“We were excited to return to the chalet for another Gore Mountain ski adventure with our two kids. The Chalet felt even more like home the second time around. “There was no heat the first night we were there. The management company said there was a power outage. Luckily, someone in our group was in HVAC tech because the emergency call wasn’t going to respond till 10 AM the next day. The management company offered a late check out as compensation for our inconvenience, which was kind of insulting. I had to ask for a free night before they agreed to it. The thermostat in the house was locked and set to 70. I pay good money for the houses that I rent...

The house was very clean and spacious, the hosts were very communicative, the location was great (just 30 minutes away from Lake George, 10 minutes from Lake Minerva and a3 minutes away from charming downtown North Creek). Highly recommend and will stay again when traveling to the area!”

“We had a great stay at the Cozy Chalet. Location was very close to North Creek but secluded and right on the creek so the sound of the water was great. The house was comfortable and cozy and we enjoyed hanging out int he main room. Mike was very easy to communicate with and made sure everything went smoothly.”

“The house was perfect for the 9 of us, we did not want to leave Sunday! The kitchen had everything we needed. The space was very nice in a big party. You didn’t feel crowded. The pool was an awesome add on. Saturday afternoon the weather was a perfect temperature so we were able to take advantage! The location is great. Not to close to Lake George but your not in a tourist town. Ubers are available to grab you if you want to go have some drink in town. We have talked about coming back yearly...
