It was a great home for spending time together but also finding small moments of time to chill and relax. We had a minor issue with the digital entry code, but management was able to fix it quickly.”

“Very clean upon arrival and all beds are very comfortable. Plenty of room for 6 adults. I only used the downstairs shower, water pressure and hot water availability was awesome! “We enjoyed the peacefulness and seclusion of the house out in the country. It was a short drive over to Starved Rock and we even made a drive into a grocery store in LaSalle which was about 20 min away. We had a hard time getting the lock to open when getting in and with the heat but the owner was very quick to respond and resolve issues. He was kind and was understanding to our needs. “We really enjoyed staying here. The owner was very nice and answered all our questions. We loved being right on the river and we caught a lot of fish (bass and big catfish). We drove to Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Park and went hiking there. We couldn't wait to get back to the cabin after hiking to relax. All the furniture, beds and bedding were very comfortable. The cabin is nicely decorated, beautiful wood furnishings and taxidermy. We would definitely stay here again!”
