  • A great couples getaway! Beautifully furnished 600 sq. ft 1 bedroom, 1 full bath with living area, dining, kitchen & food prep area. This is a secure second-story unit with a separate entrance and complete privacy. Leather sofa and sitting chair, LED lighting throughout, the unit is a beautiful example of mountain modern architecture and style. The unit is heated by Warmboard™, a proprietary hydronic radiant heat system located in the floors throughout the unit. Warmboard allows complete heating control over the living, bath and bedroom areas with no drafts of cold air, blowers or noise resulting in an ideal winter workspace. The unit contains top end appliances including a 4 burner Bosch Induction Cooktop, Samsung Convection Oven/Microwave, Samsung full-sized refrigerator/freezer, 55" LG Smart TV, utensils, beach chairs, and umbrella. Located in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood but close to everything that Tahoe has to offer (Summer swimming, hiking, biking, concerts & beach fun). It is a 5 min walk to hiking, mountain bike and cross-country skiing trails. It’s a short 10 min drive to Lake Tahoe, Heavenly Valley Ski Resort, Stateline casinos and Barton Hospital.

Great host and immaculate place

Bob and Maria are just great host and very communicative. Loved our stay at their place. Their place is immaculate and well put together. Also the location is very close all the good places in South Lake Tahoe.

Comfortable stay in a quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay! Pros: quiet, clean, modern, extra items for use by host like cooler and umbrella. Parking was easy and convenient, got a feel for what’s like to be a resident of such a gorgeous destination. Cons: slightly away from the main town, but no biggie. Great stay overall!

ACC visit

The property was fantastic and the hosts were accommodating and easy to work with. Nice extras like kettle bells, weights, and mats. If you like being away from the crowds but want an easy Uber ride to the activities, this quiet neighborhood is perfect.

Beautiful spot

Great location to mountain bike and hiking trails, wonderfully stocked with all the essentials. A bit hard to use the entry and lock the door and the modern controls for heating were beyond our technical abilities. Lighting in the main room was really bright but smart TV was great.

25th Anniversary

Robert and Maria are amazing hosts and think of every detail. The rental is in a perfect location, centrally located to visit Lake Tahoe as well as many other areas. We felt at home and enjoyed our stay for our 25th Anniversary. They have so many special amenities that you could never have at any hotel or condo. All of our needs were met. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property with us! Tip-we enjoyed visiting Camp Harrison and taking the boat trip to Emerald Island. They have a beach front and restaurant there as well.

An amazing stay!

We were getting away for a little anniversary weekend and the apartment was perfect! It sits right above the garage with your on private access. We walked in and we’re amazed with how modern and clean it was. It had pamphlets on what to do around Tahoe along with dinner recommendations. We were able to meet Bob who was so delightful and sweet. They also left a little note with a bottle of champagne. Definitely recommend staying here!

Unforgettable Adventures and Ultimate Relaxation

Our experience was truly delightful, especially because we had the opportunity to meet the hosts in person. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was problem-free, including making sure there were no issues with the entry code. The location of our accommodations was absolutely perfect for our mountain biking, kayaking, and hiking adventures. Additionally, the thoughtful provision of essential items made our stay incredibly comfortable. Plus, the smart TV provided a fantastic way to unwind and relax after spending all day adventuring. All in all, it was a fantastic stay that exceeded our expectations.

Truly, a Hidden Gem!

This is a spatial 2nd-floor apartment, modern, immaculately clean (it looks brand-new) and with a well-appointed kitchen. The principal attraction of this apartment is its location on a quiet street of stately homes in the pine-tree forest. It is just under 10-minute ride from the lake and the tourist bazaar of downtown South Lake Tahoe, the main attraction of which for us was Whole Foods Market. The street is called High Meadow Trail, and indeed there are hiking trails starting almost at the door; we tried the Power Line trail. Last and not the least, Maria and Bob are the hosts to dream of: very welcoming, tactful, and helpful; it was a pleasure to meet them. Among other helpful advice and information, they made available several useful hiking guides and maps. (There are also some pretty good books on the shelf, but we usually were so tired that we just stared at them.) Overall, in spite of the low temperatures, about 30 at night, when our plans of swimming in the lake went down the drain, it was a wonderful vacation.

Our stay at this property was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. Their attention to detail is outstanding we couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience. I would absolutely recommend staying there and look forward to possibly doing it again in the future.

Amazing stay!

I cannot say enough about this little property. It helped make our Tahoe stay so special. 10 minutes from literally everything in south Tahoe. Owners are SO nice and accommodating. Left us a nice note and a piece of cake!! All amenities are nice and you can tell they take great care of this space! We will be back.

Just what you want in a VRBO experience...easy communication, clean, well stocked and convenient property, and kind and considerate hosts. We couldn't have asked for more and honestly, if we had, Maria and Bob probably would have made whatever we need happen for us. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to our friends Trust all the good reviews and stay here, you will love it!

Awesome Vacation - Perfect for us - we like quiet :)

We own a contemporary home and quality is important to us. This place delivered on ALL fronts. Quiet, peaceful, yet easy access to every place we wanted to go. We hiked everyday and it was wonderful to come home to all of the detailed amenities: yoga mats, super clean floors, comfortable bed, perfect amount of light and breeze! We also went to the beach one full day and beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, sunscreen all right there for us! Amazing couple willing to answer all of our questions. Loved it!

Heavenly Hideaway!

We had a fabulous stay at Bob & Maria’s hideaway! The space is brand new, beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen (loved the induction stove and iron tea pot for my tea!) and we must mention the heated floors. Easy access to so many things to do, but one of our favorites was a morning walk on the nearby trails. Bob and Maria immediately responded to any questions we had and gave some great food recommendations too. We can’t wait to come back for more adventures! Cheers to that!
