Trapper's Cabin är perfekt för ett par eller en familj. Ekonomiskt prissatt till $ 250. 00 (ej inklusive skatter. GST och hotellskatt lägger 9% till hyran) per natt för upp till fyra personer. (över fyra personer är $ 10. 00 per extra person per natt.) Den har tre dubbelsängar och två madrasser med dubbelsäng på loftet. Den har ett kök, badrum, matplats och en fantastisk utsikt. Om extra sängar behövs finns det R. V. hyror tillgängliga också som kan föras till platsen för dig i närheten av stugan. Tält kan också läggas på landet. (25. 00 per tält per natt) Sängkläder och handdukar tillhandahålls och det möblerade köket är utmärkt att laga din egen mat. Det ligger i ett mycket privat vackert tre-område, men bara 5 minuter från huvudvägen. Goose Island Pond ligger precis framför fönstren och besöks av kanadensiska gäss, Loons och Beavers. Det har ett arvtema med områdets legendariska karaktärsbilder och historier på väggarna. Verkligen en unik och trevlig upplevelse. Det finns en stor vacker fiskersjö precis nedför kullen (Payne-sjön) och byn Mountain View ligger bara 4 km öster där mat och gas kan köpas. Du kan också njuta av utbudet av vilda blommor på de gräsbevuxna kullarna bredvid stugan. Det finns också en 2 km vandring som kan tas upp till Little Beaver Lake i närheten. Naturligtvis är Waterton National Park ett måste se och erbjuder ridturer, båtturer, restauranger, bergsspår, stora sjöar och fantastiska vilda blommor och vilda liv att njuta av. Stadsplatsen Waterton ligger bara 20 minuter bort.

This was our third visit to Trappers and we love it there. The cabin and the grounds are perfect. We hope that the planned developments for RV lots nearby doesn't change the wonderful seclusion and peacefulness of this beautiful and unique retreat. We were dismayed by the people on ATVs coming through; we didn't have that the first year, and we felt bad telling them that we didn't want them coming there, as we're paying for the quietness and privacy. We want to visit Trappers again as it is a special place and we really do love it there. Thanks so much

Amazing location with view of pond life. Watched the moose, ducks, heron deer and beavers like it was a show put on for us. Nice isolated spot surrounded by nature, but not far from Mountain View and Cardston. Hosts were very quick to respond to any questions and went out of their way to accommodate our needs!

Fantastic!

We absolutely loved our time at the cabin. The property is beautiful and peaceful. We would go in to Waterton and do the tourist things , then return to the cabin for peace and quiet ! The cabin had all that we needed. We stayed at the beginning of August so all the saskatoons were ripe.. we could have lived off saskatoons. We made good use of the bbq and firepit too. The kids had a great time, as did we all! It’s very isolated .. we didn’t see any other people, which was wonderful.

Lovely cabin in the middle of the woods and there is a peaceful pond infront of it with muskrats swimming. Lots of birds and a couple deer visited. So zen. Peaceful. All you hear is nature. Away from the rustling and bustling of the city. Loved it there. And our host is very nice, and helpful. Even gave us a free tour of their heritage farm and the kids get to play and pet animals in their farm. Truly a wonderful experience.

We had a very nice stay at this cabin. It is very quiet and secluded. Most of our time was spent hiking in Waterton and this was a good place to use as a base for our adventures. The cabin was clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed and Cheryl even put some ice cubes in the freezer for us.

Beautiful and serene

It was about 25 or so minutes from Waterton, easy drive, beautiful drive. Comfortable cabin with everything you need. So quiet and peaceful with no one around, no noise, all the stars in the sky at night. We loved it.

Peaceful stay

This cabin is perfect for peace and quiet! The pond offers wonderful wildlife viewing. My husband loved all the water foul and a great bird book in the cabin. There are no luxuries here! The bedrooms are quite small and mattresses are questionable.

Nice and Peaceful

The cabin was just as described and fit our needs nicely. It's proximity to Waterton Lake National Park was good. The only issue we had was getting to the property. The directions failed to include the code to the gate. The host responded immediately when we asked for a code, but the code she provided did not work. We were able to get in when a nice neighbor approached us at the gate and, when told we were trying to get to Trapper's Cabin, gave us a code that worked. That was the only glitch in an otherwise excellent trip.

What a beautiful place. It was close to where we wanted to go (30 min from Waterton townsite) but quiet and private. The pond was so serene and the stargazing was great. Comfortable and well appointed, if I could buy a place like this for retirement I would do it in a heartbeat.

Stayed cool in very hot weather. The loft could sleep at least four with two in each room and a comfy futon as well. Easy to find and Cheryl was a great host. Close to lovely Waterton but Payne Lake was great for fishing and paddle boarding. Would definitely stay again.

A hidden gem

The posted photos seriously undersell this cabin which sits on the edge of a small lake teeming with birds plus a resident beaver and some other larger wildlife including deer. The outside deck is the perfect spot for late afternoon relaxation and wildlife spotting. The cabin itself is large, simple and very functional although perhaps the double beds could do with a mattress upgrade! Situated about 25 minutes to Waterton NP entrance it was the perfect location to explore the park and have private secluded self-catered accomodation. The arrival instructions were very clear. Only 4 out of 5 for accuracy of online listing as it was so much better than we expected.!
