“Stayed with family (adults + babies + dog) for 4 nights and had a great time. The house is very large with lots of room to spread out. The living room area is super comfortable. Location is quiet and a 30 min drive from some bigger/busier towns like Woodstock. There are endless books!! Hosts are responsive and accommodating. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back for future getaways.”

“When I reserved my stay for 34 days (I explained this was not a vacation, I was doing an externship for school), I was told the” cottage” was booked for 3 of the 5 weeks, but an art studio was available to rent. I specifically asked to confirm there was a private bathroom, high speed WiFi, and air conditioning. “The place was as described. The kitchen equipment was great - there were enough plates, silverware, mugs, glasses, etc. The cooking equipment was good, too. Suggestion: small bowls and plates. The dining room table only had little benches to sit on. We brought in the chairs from the front porch. There is no sofa. “Came up to the area for live music. I had my daughter meet me there for the weekend so we can have peaceful quality time together. We accomplished that with this stay. We found our way to the river and spend most of our time chilling and catching up there. Bring bug spray! The cottage was just enough for our needs. We would recommend this retreat to anyone looking to unplug and regroup. We ourselves would stay again for sure!”
