“We simply loved our stay at this back country home. Our children loved the arcade and the pond. We had a scenic 20 minute drive to Elk Mt. Ski Resort. The check in was super smooth and the house sparkling clean. We cant wait to come again on our next ski trip to Elk!!!”

“Our good friends daughter was getting married at the Fern Hall Estate and we did not like the hotel options provided. We couldn’t have had a better weekend. The house is bigger and better than the listing shows. We were a party of 8 adults and a 1 year old and theee was plenty of room for all. The house was furnished beautifully.”

“Great place to stay. Cannot get any closer to Elk Mountain. Fireplace kept us warm. Beautiful home inside and out. The host left so many condiments (bottle of wine, etc.). Only downside was the strange showers & was very muddy due to the weather, not the hosts' fault of course. Dennis H”

“Overall everything was very good with the exception of the front door electric lock. It took 8-10 times to get it to unlock and it never locked as per the instructions. The house could also use a few more comfortable chairs to watch TV. We had to use fold up chairs to watch a hockey game. We aslo requested a late checkout but were denied by the host. Next time that will be an upfront requirement or we will go somewhere else. KM”

“The owners were great. Respected our privacy, answered any and all of our questions or needs. Property is beautiful, great fishing in the lake. Quiet surroundings, and other things to explore with a short drive. Just a really great experience!”

“This cabin was just what we were looking for! Beautiful views, lots and LOTS of space to run around, easy access to trails and so peaceful. We took the advice of the guide and visited Chet’s Place for dinner and visited the nearby lake. Both were great. My family and I had the most wonderful time and would love to return! 10/10 - would recommend!”
