“Lovely fresh hotel & restaurant, staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and clean, only slight questionable was some staining on wall & bed base but otherwise the room was nice & clean & beds very comfy. Beds were very well made. No noise heard from outside at all, very quiet. We had dinner and breakfast in the red squirrel & found it all delicious, fairly priced & again the staff were so lovely, efficient and cheery. “Expectations were high with a score of 9.2 but I was disappointed. Room a bit pokey, very odd matress & bedding, terrible shower. Decor throughout a bit tired. Residents bar very limited and nothing on draught. Breakfast was ok. On the plus side, staff were all very nice, location is quiet with a nice park opposite and there's enough parking. I'd stay again if in Girvan but can't say I'd look forward to it.”

“Stayed over for one night passing through on a cycling trip. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful storing and charging our bikes. Only open for B&B but fortunately the local tearoom opens on weekend evenings for meals. Well stocked community shop next door and community pub at the end of the street. Great village and area.”

“We booked for a 2 night stay and were made so welcoming and friendly pn arrival. Fabulous room and ensuite beautifully clean and comfortable. Lovely flowers fruit and homemade shortbread made it a special treat. Delicious food and friendly host .Will definitely book again.A must for a quiet break away.This is a littke gem tucked away in lovely surroundings. .”
