“We loved everything about our stay at Townhead from the glorious views to the cozy and thoughtfully planned house. Communication with the manager and the housekeeping staff before and during the stay was prompt and kind. The welcome drinks and food meant we didn’t have to run into Peebles when we first arrived. We unpacked and would have happily stayed much (much!) longer than a week. It’s a wonderful area to walk and explore but really, you’ll want to stay home and read or write or draw....

“This property is a jewel in the beautiful countryside of Scotland. The Annex is a very clean, very comfortable vacation place. We considered canceling all other plans for the remainder of our vacation to stay here. Spacious eat-in kitchen, sunroom, large bedrooms, large bathroom, make for an amazing stay here. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner and celebrate a birthday:) The grounds, the garden and beautiful views can definitely brighten your day....

“The cottage was as described and pictured except that the garden was much better than expected. By “large garden” read huge! The children loved it! The walled grass area was great for frisbees and the external garden was good for exploring. As well as this is the patio garden which is included in the pictures. The cottage itself was very clean with really luxurious bedding and towels. There are a lot of small thoughtful touches like plenty of hooks for coats and a porch which took all the boots...
