“Went to see Iceland for my wife’s 50th. Wasn’t sure where to book but was advised to book inside the golden circle. Picked this place on the basis of the photos. We were not disappointed, the property was just as it looked, spotlessly clean and well stocked with all the things that you would need. The hot tub was a lovely extra. The stop at supermarket on the way is good advice but the restaurant Mika an energetic walk (30 min) from the property was excellent. All of the golden circle sights...

“An adorable quiet and private cabin with everything needed to live and cook comfortably. Ideally a washer/dryer on site would be preferred (although washing in the sink and drying on the radiator works fine). It’s ideally located for day trips around the golden circle including 2 different thermal soaking pools within 30 minute drives. You can even see the geyser erupt from the deck. The door lock sticks but we eventually figured it out.”

“Our family absolutely loved the Hekla Hilltop cabin. The hot tub, the record player, the "cave", and the location! Short drive to the Geyser and Gullfoss. The owners were great in all communications and made our trip very easy. This is especially helpfull in your first night in a new country. Highly recommneded!!!!!!!”

“Wir verbrachten in Thordis' schönem Haus Anfangs März 2020 vier Nächte als Familie (2 Paare). Wir fanden im sauberen Haus alles, was wir brauchten. Die Inneneinrichtung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das Haus liegt abseits der Strasse nach Gullfoss in einer weiten und ruhigen Landschaft mit genügend Abstand zu einigen anderen Häusern. Thordis kontaktierte uns von Zeit zu Zeit via Mail kurz vor, während und am Ende unseres Aufenthaltes. Danke Thordis! Wir kommen gerne wieder! ”
