“was a good place if you want to relax ”

“Reeked of sewage, lost water in room on second day. Hard climb over shaky bridge to get to property. Didn't provide an itemized receipt for meals when requested. Attempted to double price for passage to next city. Not a nice stay in a poorly maintained property. Food mediocre at best. Surrounding area/gorge fantastic. ”

“Fantastic place! In the middle of Atlas mountains, facing the giant Toubkal. Hamid is a very friendly host, always ready to help. Rooms are spatious , with heater and warm water, breakfast is full of good things to start the day… and they can provide tasty dinners to top it all. Will defenitely recommend for anyone wanting to wander around Atlas mountains or climb the Toubkal. Otherwise you can spend hours looking at the mountains on their sunny roof top! ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Auberge Miguirne chez Ali. The accomodation is located on a hill with a beautiful view over the valley. The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful and spontaneously organized us a Guide for a trip to the Monkey Fingers. The food was also very delicious. We had an omelette Berber for lunch and a breakfast with plenty of choices on the patio. ”

“Quel plaisir de séjourner à la maison d'hôte Argana ! Le lieu est un havre de paix, très calme et chaleureux. Le repas et le petit déjeuner étaient copieux et très bons. Les chambres sont confortables et très belles, la terasse donne sur la montagne et le jardin fleuri. Nous avons pu en découvrir plus sur les coutumes et nous avons reçu de très bons conseils pour visiter les environs. Un grand merci à Mohamed qui est un hôte très attentionné et d'une grande gentillesse !”

“I was honored to be the first guest after the reopening post-pandemic. I especially enjoyed the meals on the terrace overlooking the Ourika Valley. The Kasbah is located in a rather vertical village known for its ceramic work. The room was spacious, clean and the bathroom was well decorated and spacious. Kamal, his wife and Souffiane made my stay enjoyable and relaxing.”

“The family cheerily extended themselves to ensure we were comfortably accommodated, very well fed and, more, guided around the highlights of the stunning valley they live in. We could not have asked for a better time, but if we had, I’m sure it would have been arranged!”

“Absolutely amazing. Salma (I hope I spelled your name correctly) looked after us the whole time, giving us a welcome tea when we arrived. We had an amazing couscous for dinner which was homemade and so big we both struggled to finish! And the breakfast was traditional Moroccan, the local honey and peach jam were particularly nice. Thankyou so much for your hospitality, it was a really special part of our holiday!”

“Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und trotz unserer sehr späten Ankunft wurde nur für uns noch ein großes Abendessen zubereitet. Der Inhaber Mohammed spricht sehr gut französisch und kümmerte sich um jedes unserer Anliegen. Der Blick von den diversen Terassen ist sehr schön und die Zimmer sind ansprechend eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist nicht kontinental und bestand aus einheimischem Brot, Oliven, Marmelade, Erdnusscreme, Butter und Öl. Dazu gab es Tee, frisch gepressten Saft und auf Wunsch...

“Stay with local people and warm welcomed. we arrived there late, but the ninety three years old grand-mom still cooked very delicious local foods for us. The master of the family stayed with us until we finished our dinner. He also introduced his family members to us and showed us his home, his garden and his pets next morning.”
