“We loved the two outdoor spaces as it gave us room to entertain our family who live on Arran. We had fabulous weather so it was lovely to be able to sit in the sun or shade as preferred. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds comfortable. Ian was very helpful. The location is amazing- walking distance to everything.”

“Had an amazing time on Arran, The Mill Barn was a perfect location to explore all around the island with everywhere within east driving distance. The bus from the Mill Barn to Blackwaterfoot was less than 5 min away ideal for going to The Kinloch Hotel for a drink or food.Mill Barn was spacious and everything catered for.Ruth was always in touch and was happy to accommodate check in and check out times which was really helpful. Would definitely venture back to Arran in the future. ”

“What a fantastic house, every window had a picture-perfect view of either the water and surrounding Isles or rolling farmland hills. Easy to walk down to the rocky beach, up along the hills or drive into town, taking in the fresh sea air. The host Polly had great communication and sent a detailed booklet on the house and activities around the area. The house was very well equipped for a large family, a home away from home. Highly recommend...we will be returning!”

“Pleasant accommodation - though please iron out payment details so future renters can complete payment in timely fashion. Could have done without that stress. Lovely place, but under-supplied (certainly by comparison to expectations set by VRBO rentals in the US). As we didn't rent a car, we had to walk to stores to buy certain essentials. Insufficient "self catering" provisions were: four rolls of toilet paper (for four adults, four nights), two dishwasher tablets, no dishwashing liquid, no...
