“The cabin was quiet and comfortable. The host went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. It was really nice to sit outside by the fire and enjoy the peace and quiet. Their beagle even came down to say hi. I will definitely try and stay there again next time we visit there.”

“All the facilities were very clean and neat. There were deer in the pond when we opened our room door in the morning to the beautiful sunshine. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would change would be the staff free check in. Some travelers may appreciate that, but it made it seem unwelcoming and more like an rental property. ”

“We stayed in Megs Boarding House for my birthday weekend. Didnt help that it rained and a cold front came thru. But didnt stop us from utilizing the pool. I dont think id stay in megs boarding house again though and would definitely upgrade to a newer cabin. But glad i got to experience staying in there. Was very adorable, but walls are super thin and we were upstairs and man those stairs are steep ...and i get it...its old fashioned megs boarding house lol. But there was even dirt marked on the...

“If you are looking for a simple, no frills place to stay that is clean and comfortable, this place fits the bill. Bed was comfy, shower was great, bathroom was small but clean. No carpet in the room but the floors were clean. Our room actually had a small kitchen! Only downside is the elevator had a funky smell and hallway on the second floor smelled like spices. Otherwise the stay was great.”
