“Our stay was memorable for the parents, kids and grandma. The kids loved gecko hunting and the pool. Grandma enjoyed watching the waves on the lanai and seeing the weather come through while enjoying the constant breeze. And there is nothing better than grilling with the sound of waves while being able to watch the kids swim. The condo is centrally located and made it easy to explore the island and chase the sun on beach days. Great condo, good times.”

“Beautiful view. Cozy, well stocked, nicely decorated, clean condo. Great location in the middle of the island so not to far to visit the North or South island. Very comfortable bed. Laundry room (coin operated) a short walk from condo. Beautiful grounds and really nice and private beach. Would recommend and plan to stay again in future visit. Great communication with owners.”

“This condo unit is right above the beach and overlooks Wailua Bay Beach. We could watch surfers, swimmers and fishermen right from our lanai. We saw whales only twice; a long distance away; but also saw a large pod of dolphins right in front. The location is an easy drive to anywhere else on the island.”

“The condo was perfect for our stay! Two bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, one and a half baths including a full size washer and dryer; and great living room area with two couches and 4 barstools - plenty of room to spread out. The hosts have thought of everything -- sand toys for kids, boogie boards, pool floaties, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, cooler -- the works! We had family at a neighboring resort and it was great when other cousins wandered over to hang out and they could chat and they...

“This beautiful property exceeded all expectations. The condo was clean and comfortable, and included snorkeling equipment and beach gear. The owner was quick to respond to questions and was super helpful. The pool was the highlight for my kids- they haven’t stopped talking about it. Location is great- we spent time in Kapa’a where there are many food options and also drove to the North shore and Waimea as well- easy trips in both directions. I highly recommend this place!”

“Our stay was absolutely amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the location, the easy access to the ocean, the beautiful lazy river and the convenience of the grocery store right across the street. The grill was fabulous, we ate so well while here because of it. The living space was spacious and very comfortable and clean. We would happily stay here again.”

“Great location for a stay in Kauai. The condo is arguably the best location in the complex with maximum privacy! Very clean and nicely furnished. Many restaurants/shops/markets within walking distance or very short drive.”

“Enjoyed the size and location of the condo. It had everything to make our stay comfortable and we were able to use the well-stocked kitchen. Only drawbacks were the carpet and drapes. Both are very used and dirty. They need to be replaced”

“We loved this place! My family of 6 stayed 5 nights and the location was perfect - just steps away from the pool and beach. I could see the ocean waves as I sat on the bed in the primary suite. Everything was exactly as described and Bruce, the host, was very responsive. We would love to return during a future visit to Kauai!”

“Overall, we loved the condo. Beautiful ocean view, comfortable beds and very clean. Some maintenance issues...towel rack in master bath kept falling off the wall; ceiling fan in the guest bedroom is loud and "buzzing". Other than that we absolutely loved it and would highly recommend!”

“This is our third time staying at Kappa Sands with our small family. We absolutely love it. The beach is perfect for young kids, walk down the beach and the surf is perfect for riding waves. The pool is as always an attraction. We have family meals with all the kitchen appliances you need and a big refrigerator. The life is so sweet at at our little piece of aloha.”
