“This was a super cool place to stay... There is nothing like it around. Three sides of the building are 1-sided mirrors, so we had a 180 degree view from inside, but no one could see in. The 2-person hot tub was an added bonus. Very clean and located a little ways off the golden circle road. I would highly recommend for a very unique experience. ”

“Our stay at the Lake Palace was wonderful. The home is beautifully situated, spacious, and well equipped. The host was very accommodating and provided a crib and high chair for us to use for our little one. Soaking in the hot tub with a view of the mountains was an incredible way to unwind after a day of hiking. We highly recommend staying here!”

“Our family absolutely loved the Hekla Hilltop cabin. The hot tub, the record player, the "cave", and the location! Short drive to the Geyser and Gullfoss. The owners were great in all communications and made our trip very easy. This is especially helpfull in your first night in a new country. Highly recommneded!!!!!!!”

“A 4 day stay in a comfortable cottage about 15-10 min drive from Selfoss, 5 min drive from the Kerid volcanic crater. Cottage with all amenities except washer in a quiet area with several other similar cottages. Nearest supermarkets in Selfoss (there is one nearer by but is was closed). Having a car is a necessity though. ”

“Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön: geschmackvoll, komfortabel und mit herrlichem Blick auf den See, den wir jeden Tag aufs Neue genossen haben. Mitten im Golden Circle gelegen, kann man von hier aus viel erkunden. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Es war eine tolle Zeit, wir haben uns rundherum sehr wohl gefühlt! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.”

"Mysig stuga med hottub som vi uppskattade mycket på kvällarna efter blåsiga dagar på Island. Trevlig personal. All utrustning finns i köket. Vi blev nöjda!"

"Lite svårt att recensera originalhotellet eftersom vi blev uppgraderade till systerhotellet Geysir Hotel. Det hotellet var väldigt fint och det kan jag rekommendera. Det vi såg av Litl Geysir så verkar det lite enklare men fint även det även om nivån inte är samma som på det helt nybyggda Hotel Geysir. Jag har förstått att frukosten på båda ställena kan vara likvärdiga i alla fall och den var mycket bra. "

"Nice big rooms with modern Nordic architecture. Comfortable beds with good variety of pillows. Only one restaurant was open during our three day stay so the menu, that is interesting but limited started to feel a bit poor. Accommodation is very affordable for the standard, food and drinks are as pricey or pricier than in Reykjavik. Pretty good happy hour prices between 15-18 offsets that if you are happy with beer or wine."
