“Nice clean updated home near Keaau (Hawaiian Paradise Park). Quiet neighborhood. Centrally located between Hilo and Volcano National Park made for a great place to explore the east side of the island. Hilo Farmers Market was worth checking out. Rainbow Falls was nearby as well. Volcano National Park was an awesome experience. Shopped at local grocery store and cooked on the grill on the back porch. “This beautiful home has it all. The host has thought of everything one might need. It is such a peaceful spot to begin each day- beautiful views, exquisite gardens, bird watching etc. Five minutes from the national park and very easy to go back and forth if you need a rest or simply want to have your meals at home. In a residential neighborhood, very friendly atmosphere and pleasant area to walk around. Pahoa is a quiet town, has a nice new grocery market and a few fun places to go out to eat or drink. We saw tons of whales go by from the lanai and enjoyed short day trips to Hilo and Volcano.”

“Loved our stay at this lovely cottage set on 9 beautiful acres. It felt like we were actually guests of the original plantation house. Stayed for thirteen nights, and were joined by our daughter for five nights. Plenty of room for the three of us. Favorite times were morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the veranda. Easy drive to both Hilo and Volcano, and Foodland grocery is a mile away. Highly recommend.”

“Location and ocean view was FANTASTIC. While it's not a 5-star/ $1000 per night hotel, it has everything you would need/ expect from an excellent beach house. We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people.
