“Today is April 21, 2024. The property (including the grounds) is well maintained and clean. It's rural, so during sleeping hours it's pretty quiet--though there was a train around 0445 on Saturday. I don't know if I would have heard it if I wasn't already awake, though it's certainly not "off in the distance". (look at a map) I didn't hear one on Friday between midnight and 0800. “We stayed here for the 2024 Eclipse. We booked the Grand Suite a year in advance and we loved it. When the weather was good we lived out on the spacious balcony. At night we enjoyed a soak in the jacuzzi tub. There isn’t a shower but we enjoyed our nightly baths instead. Breakfasts were delicious and there are lots of amenities like drinks and snacks. We would love to stay again sometime. ”

“Great place to get out to country life with animals and plenty of places to choose from only 1 1/2 basically for the DFW metroplex. Host was spot on and our family and friends enjoyed the peace and harmony of being in safe place. The facility was built for county life extremely well. The breakfast was amazing, also included free water, wine, soft drinks and snacks. The hosts were incredibly service minded and helped us book tours and helped with local phonecalls. “I needed a place out in the country close to the State 4H Shooting Competition. I could not have picked a better place. Ms. Donna has done a fabulous job of outfitting her cabin in the woods. I wish I would have picked up some steaks and burgers; you want to cook outside she has the equipment. We caught fresh fish in her pond and cooked them on the grill. She has a golf cart to get to the ponds. We had a wonderful time. ”

Loved the location, property and the owner’s communication. It took 4 trips up and down the stairs to get everything unloaded, and wished that the on-site electric hoist would have been offered to us to get our luggage and groceries up to the second story facility which is only accessible by a exterior flight of stairs to check in...
