“I can’t begin to describe how amazing this trip was. Cate was the most amazing host. She arranged so many events, dinners, transportation that made our trip seamless. Her sister was also very helpful. We did pizza making, florentine steak dinner, and pasta making which were all great. Valentina was our guide for pasta and pizza. Upon arrival we had made a passing comment on how beautiful the patio terrace was and how a fire pit would be a nice touch so that we could enjoy it longer into the cool night. “Altipertoli is a lovely and rustic country villa located in a good spot to use as a home base for touring Tuscany! It was closed to get to Florence, Sienna, San G., Certaldo, Pisa & wineries from this location! But remember, Tuscany is filled with winding roads and sharp curves, so this is not for someone who wants to be “in town.” You must drive a rental car from here or hire a driver to get around.
