“Merv, met us when we got to the house. Clear instructions given of checking in. Four of us stayed here to catch up. We had a curry from the Indian in Wincanton which was delivered and very tasty. The beds were comfortable, two rooms with double beds, one can be converted to a twin if needed and another room with a single bed. “Lovely house in great location. Took us a while to work out how to use the key but that was probably our fault! Also we were given the wrong code for back door key so could not use back door til we met laundry lady who gave us the right code! Showers were not great - some had no pressure or hot water but we managed with the ones that did work! Heating worked well. Dishwasher broken but we didn’t do any cooking so wasn’t a problem. We would definitely book this house again”

“Stay was enjoyed by all ages hot tub and pool table appreciated particularly by the youngsters only one thing we felt could be replaced were the tall stools in the conservatory. We felt they were unsafe and very rickety but had no reflection on our stay”

Beautiful views, lovely shower and was convenient as everything was within walking difference, 20mins of that to get into town. “The host has thought of everything! It is truly a home from home (but this place has far better decor than my home!) Felt v relaxed in the living room but the bedroom with en-suite and a dressing area made it feel large and comfortable.. Large kitchen with table for 2. Far better and so much more than a hotel room. ”
