“This hotel says it has a 24hr desk in the info. We arrived at 10pm and there was nobody there. Nobody answered the buzzer or the phone. When we contacted hotels.com they said they could not reach the hotel and could not confirm that we didn't stay there, so they refused to give us a refund... even though we booked another hotel the same night from hotels.com. I was expecting a sincere apology but instead have to go through the trouble of disputing this with my credit card. Crazy.”

“Hosts Stefano and Maria were wonderful and helpful with very useful guidance for local shopping and restaurants. They lived just across an olive grove from the Trullo and were very responsive with all questions. The Trullo is just as advertised. It is a unique property, well equipped and maintaining its historical character which included low doorways - watch your head ! We spent more time in the outdoor patio / pool area, including cooking some meals on the outdoor stove. It is a lovely and...
