“we loved the Emory House. The hosts are wonderfully gracious and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the koi pond and the log cabin in the back. Great place to stay!”

“the staff were nice. the room was comfortable. the bathrooms especially the bathtubs were filthy with a couple bugs and spiders. for $115 a night, it should be spotless. the staff was not available at check in and do not give u access to the inside of the hotel during your stay. they accidently locked the door and i didnt know if i was going to get to my room or not. i didnt know if i was going to be able to check in or not due to staff not being there. ”

“The historical aspect of the property and the work the owners had put into making this a true blast in the past was fantastic. The breakfast the next day was very elegant and you felt like you were living in the 1700's We will stay there any time we are passing through”

“Our family stayed in this historic property for a celebration of life of family members who passed away recently. The beautiful and spacious front porch with rocking chairs and a swing was an amazing place to share laughter and memories while the kids played in the expansive front lawn. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the neighborhood and surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. The fire pit was enjoyed by all for s'mores and storytelling. “There was some confusion over reservation but host took care if it. Problem with water but host was getting it taken care of. Location was nice. Very steep dirt grassy driveway. Rain and snow could make it difficult if not impossible to to get up. No check in or check out instructions. No large garbage can outside. With all yhis said the host did all he could do to make sure we had what we needed.”
