“Four members of our family had a delightful, restful and fun time on our two night stay. The kitchen was filled with quality appliances and fully stocked for cooking and dining. The cabin was incredibly clean and well equipped with comfortable beds and furniture. We hope to stay there every time we visit the Somerset area. The host was outstanding and extremely helpful. “The cabin was very clean and conveniently located. I would recommend bringing an eye make to sleep in the summer as one of the bedroom windows has no covering at all and the other one has a half curtain which made it very difficult for my husband and I to fall asleep. The bed itself wasn't the best, but I've definitely had to sleep on worse. Overall as long as you bring an eye mask I'd recommend this rental.”

“We loved our stay in this home. It is so very unique! It was so clean and had all the things you would need on a trip. Towels , linens, sheets, paper towels, dish, soap, coffee maker, all the pots and pans you would need to cook……. We loved that there was a grill there! They really went above and beyond! We have stayed in many and this was our favorite!”

“This was exactly how described. The home is clean and had coffee and creamer available, baggies and aluminum foil and other items usually not found at a rental home. We were all impressed with the number of quality towels available. A bad storm went through and the whole area lost power. The owners communicated with us on a regular basis. The loss of power didn’t dampen our trip. I would highly recommend this home”

“From the rain on the metal roof to the nights we had by the fire, the whole stay was so peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is quaint with a lot of personality, and the cabins in the resort are spread out so as not to be crowding. We had everything we needed. We grilled some steaks, read books , and took nice hikes in the area. The stay was exactly what we wanted. Calvin is very accommodating helpful. We will definitely stay here again.”

“If you are looking for a place to get away from the city noises and traffic, this is the place to stay. Sitting around the firepit listening to the sounds of The whipperwill bird singing his song to to waki g up early morning watching the red-eye vireo catching bugs to feed her babies. The inside of the cabin is just beautiful. The main bedroom has a bathroom with a walk in shower, along with a doorway leading to the hot tub. The second bedroom has a door to the hall bathroom and a 3rd bedroom...

“A relaxing weekend. My wife loved all the young cats that would come up to the porch. It had everything we needed.”

“We had a wonderful time and loved the seclusion, however the house was dirty when we arrived. We understand it is bug season but if we had to spend 3 hours cleaning the place, we should have been allowed to check in before 4pm. While we loved the remote area, we felt exposed due to no curtains on the rear picture windows and the inability to deadbolt the back door. My recommendation is that it be cleaned before guests arrive.”

“Had a great experience listening to the rain on the covered porch last evening. All the lightning bugs too! Morning was so beautiful. A cloud, or fog, floated above the river and moved with the river, at dawn. All l I could hear was the small waterfall and birds singing. Then I saw a box turtle hanging out. It was so cool I had to take pictures. He was just being a turtle. Looking at me with one eye like turtles do. Loved the cabin! Very comfortable, beautiful and relaxing . The kitchen comes...

“Perfect house for a short friends' weekend, with low maintenence check-in and check-out and all the amenities needed for a relaxing evening. The pool table and fire pit were greatly appreciated. Stick a light over the vanity in the guest bath and provide washcloths, and you've got flawless accomodations.”

“Quiet and serene. The cabin had a stream running behind it. We had coffee on the porch in the mornings, dinner in evenings on the porch.”

“Earlier reviews indicated they needed to replace blinds in the bedroom and this was still needed as well as a blind or window covering into the main living entrance of the cabin. There was no toilet paper or hand soap so I had to go out and buy right away. Otherwise, it was a nice stay overnight”
